Short TD exercise proposed by @neurotypique TouchDesigner challenge — A nice way to practice positioning elements in space using SOPs here.
The visual was inspired by a poster by Xander Zhou and Neurotypique motion.
Thanks to @doralice.mc for explaining some TD concepts and tips to me.
Sound made with a 104HP modular palette (no overdubs), a sample triggered through the Soundforce 4HP sampler II, and the excellent @xaocdevices Devices trio — Berlin, Jena, and Drezno — with melodies driven by ALM Busy Circuits.
I’m proud to present my first release, mods-1 on cassette, which will be released on May 30th. It features 12 mod-style tracks, the result of Eurorack experimentation, either recorded live or reassembled and mixed in Ableton. Choose your mod to progress through a kind of journey.
The starting point is « Case » at « Grid’s End Bar. » Thanks to the @rico.collectif for their support and all their advices, to Richard Frances from Hyle Tapes, to the superb mastering work by @emiliemastering , and to @schematicwizard for his help with the mix of the track MAP. I hope you enjoy this first attempt. Check the pre-sale on Hyle Tapes bandcamp account. Album available for pre-order on Hylé Tapes’ Bandcamp page. Link on the bio. See you soon !
Here, with @touchdesigner I’m simply using an instantiation of a SOP circle by merging two patterns, sine and triangle, and I’m modifying the bias for one and the number of cycles for the other. The music was created on a modular synthesizer and the beautiful Cizzle synth module from ALM Busy Circuits.

Today I’m releasing a new track with my friend 57 Atlantic — a blend of modular melodic grooves, gritty UK-style kicks, and the hazy atmosphere of nightlife. Track link in bio/bento
A little summer exercise : creating a paint generator that also makes sound.
The data comes from TouchDesigner and is sent to VCV Rack to shape the audio. I use the VCV Rack Core module MIDI CC → CV to transmit the control signals from TD.
TouchDesigner provides:
* 1 clock to sync the system,
* 1 LFO, combined with the clock, to modulate the shape of the Cizzle module,
* 1 sample and hold, which generates small triggers to rhythmically cut the Alm Cizzle sound,
* 1 inverted signal that combines the appearance of the painted point and the path of the brush.
In vcv rack, you Cizzle, Plaits, and classic VCO used to design sounds.
