After almost 10 years of doing drag (Ginger is 10 in March 2026) and after almost four years of being a full-time queen, I thought it was time to impart some wisdom to people who are thinking about doing drag or perhaps people who are just starting their journey and are looking for some tips - on what not to do!
I imagine my peers may read this with a bit of side eye. Fact is we all have different opinions, these are just mine for a large part.

Today marked the end of an era, 13 years together, 10 years married and 10 years living in our first home.
Though we now move to our independent lives, we have managed so well living together for the last 19 months since the split and we handled everything so amicably, it really was a testament to the respect we have for each other. Though I’m excited for the next chapter, I just want to Thank Paul so much for all of the many wonderful memories we have made and that I will always cherish. We also still have our beautiful Percy dog that we’ll be sharing, so there’s no getting away from seeing each other either, and for that, I’m glad, our friendship lives on!
Forgive us if we’re quiet for a few days, we’re busy sorting out our new homes. Xxx.

Wednesday: I’m off, don’t call or write!
Thursday: Dover Castle (games night) and Helsinki Leicester (broke bitch Thursday)z
Friday: English Lounge 6pm, Dover Castle, 10.30pm.
Saturday: The Cockatoo Club brunch with Annabelle Lecter, followed by Dreamboys.
Sunday: The Old Still (another debut).

She gets the balance of controlling the room while being inviting so down pat that by the second half punters were racing each other to the stage to be part of the show”….
