The MLC-3 Mobile Laser Cannon is a light ground tank utilized by various rebel forces against the Empire, and eventually the greater Rebel Alliance. It was armed with a powerful pair of blaster cannons, operated by the driver from the vehicle's distinctive bubble cockpit. The model contains 354 pieces. While primarily designed for display, it features durable, moving tank tracks, allowing it to be played around with by the most mature of lego enthusiasts. The MLC-3 also has adjustable blasters, and enough space to fit a driver inside. Instructions for this moc are available for purchase on rebrickable /mocs/MOC-118066/Aullicks/mlc-3/ #legostarwars #moc #legomoc #starwars #lego #afol #kenner #vintagestarwars #starwarsmoc #starwarslegends #stormtrooper #roguesquadron #lucasarts #legends #starwarseu #expandeduniverse #rebelalliance #rebels

The All-Terrain Personal Transport (AT-PT) is a light anti-infantry walker utilized by the Galactic Empire. It was designed with the idea of taking a single soldier and giving them the strength and firepower of an entire squad of troops. It was armed with a pair of blaster cannons, mounted above a concussion grenade launcher. The model contains 270 pieces. While primarily designed for display, it features full articulation in its legs, allowing it to be stood in a variety of poses. The AT-PT also has just enough space to fit a driver inside. AT-PT This one is so small and kind of cute looking, especially next to the other towering walkers. It was a challenge getting it to be so small, but ultimately is quite tiny; in a standing position, it is only 4.6 inches tall (only 4 without the lever antenna). Its size did not come with any drawbacks, however. The model has 4 joints in each leg, has (barely) enough space for a driver, as well as guns that move up and down, and something that kind of sort of works like a hatch. Though I've removed the side walls to show the minifigure inside, the actual model has a removable roof that would be used to access the driver. #lego #afol #legostarwars #moc #starwars #starwarslegends #legofan #starwarsmoc

Work in progress MLC-3. Coming along pretty smoothly so far, glad all of the connections are working and are decently strong at worst

Imperial AT-DT walker This walker most notably appeared in Solo a Star Wars Story, and... not much else. It is definitely one of the stranger looking vehicles, at least within the realm of canon. At first glance, it is a mostly unaltered anti-aircraft gun slapped onto an AT-ST chassis with AT-AT feet. Having designed and built an AT-ST, creating this model was a breeze. ...is what I'd like to be able to say. Because the AT-DT is shorter than the AT-ST (despite what wookieepedia will tell you) everything derivative of it needed to be shorter and thinner in order to look right. Furthermore, many sections are JUST different enough to warrant completely different designs. The lower legs, for instance, are much different; on the AT-ST, the leg wraps around the thinner ankle. On the ATDT, the much wider ankle has to wrap around the leg. The leg section is also proportionately shorter on the AT-DT, meaning it wasn't a simple matter of using shorter plates and liftarms. The feet also had to be done in a way that the toes stuck out at 45 degree angles, and I suspect the way I've done that will be a structurally weak connection in real bricks. Luckily, I have a beta tester building this, who I'm sure I can rely on to let me know where things need to be strengthened. The hardest part of the design, though, was finding good references. There's only really one accurate picture, and you can only see so much in it. The only view of the backside is extremely MUDdled by Solo's god awful cinematography, and all of the toys released are ripe with inaccuracies. As such, many liberties were taken. I think the final result looks quite good, all things considered. #lego #moc #afol #starwars #legostarwars #solo

It's so funny to me that this was actually a controversy for so many people

Rebel Militia A-A5 Speeder Truck It's been quite some time since I've reared my head, let alone with something completely new. I figured I ought to come back with something big. This model started out because I wanted to figure out an alternate use for the Mystery Machine windscreen, as well as finding a "Rebel equivalent" to the Imperial Troop Transport. I think it's turned out quite well. I had some freedom and liberties with the design, as this vehicle seems to look different everywhere it shows up. I'm pretty sure its only canon appearance is in Star Wars Commander; The game has AT-STs with no windows, among other heavily stylized designs, so I didn't follow that version to a tee. The underside greebles were all improvised, with the 2x2 round boat stud near the front being a nod to the AT-ST. The most notable omission on mine is the lack of the line splitting the windscreen into to sections. I tried implementing this, but no solution really looked good, so I ultimately just dropped it. Everything in the model is connected, (minus the roof and a small subassembly that includes the windscreen, which are held in snugly with friction for the sake of easy interior access) but there are quite a few "hope and pray" methods that I won't know for sure how strong they are until I build it with real bricks. #lego #moc #afol #starwars #legostarwars #starwarscommander #rebel

After several parts orders (not just for this, don't worry) and many attempts to procure the socket wrench pieces (which were a MASSIVE pain in the ass to position as the handlebars) I finally have the speeder bike in the flesh. Apologies for the sharpied scout helmet, I did it as a child and it's unfortunately the only one I have. As for the aforementioned orders, they are mostly for @jerac.lego 's rebel starfighters, but also another upcoming build. I also plan on posting some of my existing builds later down the line, as I'm very proud of them and don't want to disrespect them with stud.io renders and low quality phone camera pics. There are a few surprises down the line, though if you're in the @richboyjhae discord server you more than likely know what I'm talking about already. Anyways, this is my speeder bike. I'm very proud of it, even if some parts of it were a massive headache (or just one part of it) #lego #moc #afol #starwars #legostarwars #battlefront #starwarsbattlefront #returnofthejedi #empire #endor #starwarsmoc

Update on the AT-DP since it's been a while. From the outside it doesn't really look that much different, but the back and roof have been completed, and the internal structure now actually exists (most of what I had before was not actually connected to anything) #lego #moc #afol #starwars #legostarwars #starwarsrebels

AT-DP WIP Wanted to get something out until I can get some photos of my builds, light hasn't been optimal the past few days and I want to get a better background than my bedroom windowsill lol. Anyways, I'm particularly pleased with how this model is turning out so far. I haven't been as passionate about it as my other mocs, so it's been a bit of a slow build. Nonetheless, I'm very proud of the SNOT and the way it integrates with the plate/tile built front portion of the cockpit. The new 6x2 wedge plate has also made life a lot easier. Lastly, although it's a subtle detail, I'm very happy with the ball cannon being mounted at an angle rather than just straight perpendicular to the bottom of the cockpit. This is a WIP, so everything is subject to change. #lego #moc #afol #starwars #legostarwars

Rebel Combat Speeder from the very first Star Wars Battlefront I am currently on vacation, so I haven't had access to stud.io or my arts collection. Instead, I've had to pull from the archives of my previously finished models. This one was interesting, particularly in the construction of the cockpit area. It's a very odd shape, and one that doesn't really lend itself nicely to any of lego's existing windscreen moulds. I've seen a lot of people use the old x-wing/y-wing canopy, but that one just doesn't look right to me, and at the scale I've built this vehicle it would be too small. I think I came to a good compromise, and I like the usage of those flag pieces in the rear. The only drawback is that the roof of the speeder is a bit small compared to its in universe counterpart, but it's a sacrifice I don't mind making. #lego #afol #legostarwars #moc #starwars #battlefront #starwarsbattlefront
