my album PRAYER HANDS is out <3
prayer hands is a collage of sounds and prayers collected over the last few years, a soundtrack for the backrooms, a portal to a safe place, sounds for the oscillating heart, and more.
with my cat August by my side - i’ve tried my best to receive her telepathic messages and translate them into this album.
a few years ago i went on a walk to pray, i found an art gallery encouraging people to make collages and play with clay. i made a collage and eventually a group of children joined me. we made clay aliens while i built up the courage to share my ideas with them - i told them i wanted to make an album and write a story (still in the works) i felt encouraged by their feedback and creativity. the judgements i placed on myself felt small compared to their ability to imagine and see past what was incomplete about my ideas.
that day solidified my desire to make an album that would be something 10 year old me would love.
i feel excited and proud to have this collection of sounds out. i’ve made videos for each song that i will be sharing soon.
