Most RX-7 builds chase power…
This one didn’t—and that’s exactly why it stands out.

Built by Ryo Yanagisawa and featured by @naritadogfight.jp Dogfight, this 1994 Mazda RX-7 FD3S keeps its stock 13B rotary and focuses on what actually matters—balance, reliability, and real driving.
Instead of chasing big numbers, this build is dialed with purpose:
RE Amemiya aero for airflow + cooling
TCP Magic wide fenders for function
Öhlins suspension for real grip
Yokohama ADVAN GT wheels wrapped in AD08R tires
Even the details hit different—one-off lighting, functional aero, and a setup built for the roads of Nagano, not just for photos.
This is what happens when a build is made to be driven, not just seen.
Stock engine or built motor… what would you choose? 👀

Coincidentally, we met on Coming of Age Day in Japan on January 12, 2026 — a national holiday that celebrates young people officially entering adulthood at the age of 20. Traditionally, the day is spent visiting local shrines with family and friends, where young women often wear colorful furisode kimono and men don formal suits to commemorate the milestone. However, one group of car enthusiasts chose a different way to celebrate, spending the day cruising together through various locations across the city instead of gathering solely at shrines.
