A year ago today @spicy_green_tea_ and I set off on our last big adventure for a while, to round out what had been a decade of unabated fun. And while we may be thirty now, our unwavering commitment to procrastination will endure, so in the meantime I hope you enjoy a little sneak peak of what was three relentless months of adding countless more anecdotes to the Tim & Dan chronicles.
We both had to push ourselves well beyond our limits into physically and mentally unchartered territory for this trip. Not knowing how our bodies would hold up sleeping on the ground for 100 days (more literally than we expected), or how our work and camera equipment would hold up being battered and bruised on the bikes. Picking up something four times your body weight over and over, and having your helmet create an echo chamber of your own thoughts for weeks on end certainly provided some insight into the limitations of my own resilience. Throw in a break up and sleepless nights listening to bears wander around your camp and you can get some pretty spicy introspection. But indeed, it was the most fun I've ever had. Motorbikes, mountains, bffl. good.

A year late, but I finally got the time to piece together my footage from New Zealand in 2022. It is truly an incredible country, plus when you add in some helicopters, bikes and the trusty getaway sticks, it is one of the worlds best playgrounds. Missing the people and the places here every day.
