Broadway 101, the Gogue Center's free conversation series, explores the origins of the Renaissance girl-power spectacular “SIX: The Musical”—Monday, May 18. Hosted by Chase Bringardner, Auburn University associate provost for academic affairs and professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance, Broadway 101 conversations offer patrons an evening of theatre history and fascinating behind-the-scenes tidbits about the Gogue Center's Broadway Series performances. For this iteration, Bringardner dives into the Tony Award-winning musical about the famous—and infamous—wives of Henry VIII. Broadway 101 is free and open to the public; space is limited and registration is required. Attendees may park in the Gogue Center’s Woodfield Drive parking lot. Lobby doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the hour-long presentation begins promptly at 6 p.m. in the Woltosz Theatre. To register, visit aub.ie/broadway101-six. Tickets for all four performances of “SIX: The Musical”—Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, at 2 and 7 p.m.—are available now at goguecentertickets.auburn.edu. #GogueCenter #Broadway101 #BroadwaySeries #SIX — Broadway 101 sponsored by Shawn & Denise Gilbert, Dick & Debbie Gooley, and Jenny & Jim Jenkins.
