OUTLAW BALLADS is finally out 🤠
This is the first chapter in the new direction of my music. I am so excited to share it with you. I started working on this before moving to California and going freelance. It has been crazy sitting on these for so long but I really needed to take a pause and take my time so this project stays fun and doesn’t become a job.
Thank you to all of my creative collaborators and artists that helped make this happen. I hope you enjoy the new music!!!
This last year has been insane for me. I moved to Los Angeles, went freelance, got to score my first movie, and had to learn all about scheduling my time, taxes, and attorneys. All a part of growing up I guess right?
I started this project as a way to work on the music that I wanted to write without having anyone else’s notes or criticisms. And then guess what happened? Going freelance gave me the ability to work with so many amazing people and I started taking a lot of creative pride in the work I was doing. I have always wanted to be a composer so being able to focus on that and have those opportunities has truly been a blessing.
Moving forward, I want to keep Augest as my creative safe space. Somewhere I can go to truly let go and be myself. I may not post as much, but I will always come back to this when I have the time! I am now ready to continue this project with 4 new songs I have been working on for the past year or so. They will be out very soon, excited for you to hear them 🤠

These last couple months have been really disheartening to me.
I’ve been trying really hard to come up with a sound palette that is completely unique to me. I tend to build things up in my head and then when people / labels reject them it’s hard to get back up and still be stoked. But as long as you are proud of what you made you should never let anyone else’s decisions sway you on our own art. Stay unique and be yourself 🤠
