On this day, as we pause to remember 9/11 and the lives forever changed, Iām even more grateful for the gift of motherhoodāfor the chance to hold you, kiss you, and promise to raise you with compassion, kindness, and courage. Thereās a sweetness about summer at the lake that words canāt quite capture. The days slow down, the air feels lighter, and life becomes about nothing more than family, nature, and the simplest joys. Watching my baby grow in that setting just feels right.
