Alamo’s house. Euphoria Season 3. We found it out in Palmdale — the Brill House. 1986, designed by James Herbert Brownell. It sits on a hill like it owns the Antelope Valley. 6,000 square feet of faceted odd beauty. Barely photographed, rarely shot. That tells you something. Alamo’s place isn’t about wealth in the usual sense. It’s not trying to impress you. It’s what happens when someone builds a world purely for themselves. A lavish fortress of sorts. The exterior gave us a lot to start with: stacked windows, wood and stone details, a spiral stair, an indoor pool. For the stage sets, we leaned in. The great room became an arena — a black jacuzzi perched above like a throne. Below, a sunken circular conversation pit wrapped in a curved sofa built by the @warnerbros upholstery team. @awcarlino and his crew pushed the furniture into a throwback 1980s-leaning world.@jcbackings shot massive day and night backings at the real house — 143 feet across. Inside, we cheated. The stair-step window wall over the pool is forced just enough that your brain clocks it before you can explain it. Something’s off. @euphoria Season 3 - Episode 3 debuts tonight: Cassie & Nate’s Wedding! 🌸 A fairy tale that was trying too hard — which was exactly the point. The ceremony was shot at @langhampasadena . The reception was built on Stage 23 at @wbsburbank — a Spanish-Mission Revival interior painted in warm caramel, anchored by custom pink and blush-toned carpet, plus ten real ice sculptures with on-site freezers. But flowers were the obsession. The color palette was sampled from the pinks of a shrimp cocktail. And then we ordered every pink flower in the Western Hemisphere... 25,092 stems & 7,475 roses! The Silver Slipper. A strip club built for predators — literally. Deep red and hunter green, wall-to-wall cheetah carpet, taxidermy everywhere (only the hunters, never the hunted). Oh, and an eight-foot Burmese python living in the back hallway. The exterior went up at an abandoned strip mall in Lancaster — custom neon signage and a 20-foot leg sculpture inspired by roadside Americana. Euphoria S3 Episode 2 is out tonight. THE CARS The cars were characters. Because we couldn’t use the real GT-40s or Ferraris (each worth tens of millions), our team had to build an entire fleet from scratch: dozens of period-correct race cars, plus #Cobras, #Daytonas, #Mustangs, #Porches, prototypes, and more. We engaged @racecarreplicas in Michigan, who could recreate bodies molded from original cars. They built 28 GT-40s for us — a huge reason enthusiasts now call this “the reference movie for the GT40.” We also partnered with superformance in Irvine, who supplied 29 additional racecars, expanding our fleet and giving the film the scale and authenticity it deserved. Our Vehicle Art Director @rajdesign1 was tasked with fitting out every car with the period-correct details that would hold up to scrutiny and create maximum authenticity — inside and out. Every car had its own backstory, personality, and place in the race. And every one of them had to feel real at 150 mph. THE RACE Of all the challenges on @FordvFerrari , recreating the 1966 Le Mans race was the most ambitious. The Circuit de la Sarthe is over eight miles long — every turn, chicane, banner, and stretch of track etched into racing history. We rebuilt it piece by piece. Our team constructed a massive, three-story pit-lane complex, period-correct garages, VIP suites, and grandstands. Literally miles of custom banners, hand-painted signs, and era-accurate details. What couldn’t be found, we built. What couldn’t be built, we engineered. THE BUILD SIX years ago, @fordvferrari arrived in theaters. Looking back, what still amazes me is how rare a film like this is — an original, period, character-driven epic that required us to recreate entire worlds from scratch. Shot across Southern California, Georgia, and France, we tackled more than 80 locations and built a full-scale Le Mans pit lane. Research was our compass. The art department walls filled with imagery, timelines, archival footage, sketches, and color studies. We weren’t car guys at the start — we had to become experts in everything from 1960s racing culture to Ford and Ferrari manufacturing. Huge gratitude to @jamesmangold for leading us through it all — and to @mattdamon and @christianbale , whose performances grounded the story’s heart.
