Hi all. I posted this on my story yesterday, but since it got such a big spread, I thought I’d make a post as well. This is the official comment from Audis CEO, Dr Gernot Döllner. It just shows how many people the ”Speak Up For Audi” film has reached and affected. There are now 4500 comments under the film after a week and what strikes me the most is that those are not ”Good job, Great film” comments. Most of them are life stories. People from all over the world are crying their hearts and souls out and I couldn’t be more proud. 
Proud of myself, proud of the community, proud of the unity, and proud of the movement and openness for a change. We all understand that things can’t go on like this anymore. Audi need to remember who they are, and get back to their roots. All I can ask for now, is continue to speak up. If you haven’t commented on the movie yet, do it. Sit down, reflect and think that your words will be read by the decision makers at Audi. This is like the survey they never did. They will see the heart and soul of the brand, and people that have carried the brand for decades really feel in these days. Share the film with others. Finally. Here it is. The newest addition to my Audi collection, and the most important Audi ever made: The 1st generation Audi R8 with the 4.2L naturally aspirated engine, connected to a gated manual gearbox. A very emotional documentary about this called ”It Was Always You”, goes up on the YouTube channel at this very moment. The story of it, is that I bought a pretty beaten up R8 here in the Middle East, and imported it. I had a vision, together with the help from some amazing folks at Audi Qatar and Audi Middle East. We were going to restore this historic car back to perfection. So, a year later, with lots of sweat and tears behind us, I present to you this beauty. I’ll tell you more about it in future posts, about why the V8, why it is the most important Audi ever made, my history with the car, my dreams of the car that go back 20 years, my meets and friendship with the original designer of the car, and much more.

I’m extremely grateful that one of my favourite YouTube channels, @Hagerty with Mr @jasoncammisa as the host, featured my TT Roadster Baseball Edition in their story about the Audi TT, in their latest ”Revelations” episode. It just shows how much people appreciate the first generation TT more and more. Im so sure that this car is going to shoot up in value in the next years. 
The attention to detail in its interior, is a billion times better than almost any new car today. Its hairdressers car stamp is long gone, especially the utterly soulless new cars in the automotive world today. You want an advice from me? Go and drive a 1st generation TT. I would like to give this shoot some new attention. It meant so much to me when we filmed it, but it means so much more now. Especially where we have been heading in the last 5 years with the four rings, our lovely brand.
This, to me, is Audi. The Vorsprung mentality, attention to the smallest details in the exterior design, interior materials and of course the 5-cylinder engine and manual gearbox. Made to lead, not follow. Made with passion. By people that love driving. They went after peoples hearts, not wallets. No cost-cutting mentality. Just pure ”we know our history and what we stand for” mentality. This is what made me fall in love with the brand in the 90’s, and what made me stay as a fan, owner and later collector. One of the greatest Audi concept cars ever. Such a shame that it never made it to production as a limited edition car. The politics just wanted to invest more money in the SUV market instead. When this very car, the D4 generation facelift A8 W12 was released, Audi was at their absolute top. Can you imagine the lineup in 2015? R8, TT-RS, RS3, RS4, RS5, RS6, RS7, S8, in all variants such as Sportbacks, Avants, Coupes and Cabriolets. Beautiful yet simple designs, and distinctive head and tail lights. You could see it was an Audi from far, far away.
Audi ruled the automotive design world.

And so, the curtain falls. This is a first exclusive look into Audis brand new model, the Q9. A very detailed video goes up online on the YT channel, where I also share my deepest thoughts about this. This is Audis first full-size large SUV.
I was invited to the first preview of the interior of this car. Yes, You can also see the camouflaged exterior, but the focus is here on the inside. Some important points to cover: 
- You can immediately feel the quality difference here. It’s probably the most quality I’ve seen in a new Audi for the past 5-6 years. And that says a lot. - For the first time ever in an Audi, the car has fully automatic doors, if you wish to use it of course. - The steering wheel cover is now dressed in leather with lovely stitching. It improved the look of the wheel 3 billion times.
- The piano black surfaces are now gone, and replaced by other materials.
- The annoying low quality haptic buttons area on the doors is also gone, and replaced by real aluminium buttons.
- One of the best designed Audi seats I’ve ever seen.
- A crazy openable panoramic roof, with lights inside. - The car is available as a 6 or 7 seater.
- On the outside, it unfortunately looks like a big Q3, but that was expected after all the spy photos.
- It’s over 5 meters long. That’s all I can reveal for now.
- A new 4D Bang & Olufsen system is available with speakers inside the seats 
- Unfortunately, it also adapts the disliked gear lever on the steering wheel from the Q3.
- The AC controls are still in the screen.
- The full reveal of the Audi Q9 family will happen on July 29 this year.

One of the absolute greatest Audis ever made. Period. I assume that many of you have seen the YouTube film “Living with your ultimate dream car”, about this very car. As a young kid, when I saw the B5 RS4 being revealed in 1999, I completely lost it. It was one of the fastest cars in the world back then, and I was having posters of it on my walls and drooled everytime i saw one on the road.
