I’ve discovered a DOCTOR WHO podcast (also on YouTube) called @audiosirens . And lo and behold, there’s a ep with guest @barnaby_ej . Mr E-J is publisher at Chinbeard Books, the lovely establishment that allowed me to live out one of my fanboy dreams by writing a book based on the original 1970s TV series THE TOMORROW PEOPLE. ‘Tis a small world. And this podcast is well worth a listen (or watch).

What a great time yesterday @audiosirens event at #clubparramatta.
Thrilled to have seen both #LouiseJameson and @nigelfairs for the first time in years.
Well run, relaxed, definently worth a visit one of the sirens of events if you can get too it. Great team of helpful staff and philip edney did such a fantastic job being on hand ensuring things ran smoothly even when running behind on time....no not space :)

Still floating on a cloud from such a wonderful weekend with Louise Jameson and @nigelfairs . Louise’s one woman (and one gay best friend) show was sublime.

LOUISE JAMESON & NIGEL FAIRS!! 🤩🤩 Had a brilliant weekend with Louise Jameson, powerhouse actress and star of stage and screen, esp @bbcdoctorwho Tenko, The Omega Factor, @bbceastenders Bergerac, and now @emmerdale 🤩 Also wonderful to meet actor/writer/director @nigelfairs whose work I admire, particularly his @bigfinishprod series of The Tomorrow People is incredible. 💥💥
Lucky enough to share jazz and dinner on Friday with them both and mates @bradwolfe_music@meholt77@kriss72002@whocaveconversations and @pedney68 🎺🍷
Then on Sat we saw Louise’s incredible one woman (and a man Nigel Fairs) showcase of Shakespeare speeches, so vibrant and powerful, wowing the room. 🎭🎭
Lastly on Sunday was the full house main event run by @audiosirens Dwayne Bunney and @pedney68 Thanks for another great event with interviews, conversations, photos and signings (I was door bitch - “not with those shoes” 😆)
Great to hang out with @ivanoff.george too and nerd out. 😉
For many people Doctor Who was/is a joy and an escape and a refuge and a safety net, and this event was all of that, full of love and community and storytelling. 🎉🎉

CAROLE ANN FORD! 😍🟦 It was such a thrill to meet and hang out with Carole Ann Ford over the last few days. Carole was the very first @bbcdoctorwho companion ever in 1963 and was also in the most recent series, 60 years after she first appeared! Charming and funny with a twinkle in her eye and lots of backstage gossip - she was a joy. 🤩 Great to meet Rob her manager too.
Cool to also meet YouTubers @joshsnares and @crispy_pro whose work has entertained me for yonks. 👍🏼
