Production design including stage, @beamzpro lighting, video wall, @funktiononeofficial sound and pyro by @optimumfireworks for @thewarehouseleeds and @djjamieduggan Cru2 Leeds Shutdown event in August at Springwell Brewery @northbrewco in Leeds.
The event hosted some of the biggest names in Bassline and it needed to be a production to match. The event was outside so we designed a truss structure with a custom roof for the DJ booth, suspended on steel cables, that was both functional and see-through, to minimise obscuring the lights and video wall for audience members at the front. The structure was designed to frame the iconic silo at the brewery and provided support for all lighting, video wall and the DJ booth roof.
The site is long and thin and with a sellout crowd, needed audio coverage all the way to the back. To minimise off site noise issues, the main Funktion-One Vero VX PA system was assisted by two sets of delays, each with subs in a cardioid ground stacked configuration, all powered by @linearesearch .
Our team works closely with clients to design bespoke packages for events in unusual spaces, bringing unique experiences to audiences and transforming places into one off events.

Audio provided for the Pro Am Padel Tour 2025 in Leeds, Manchester and the final held at Padium Canary Wharf in London.
We were asked to design a system that was capable of covering both the audience areas and padel courts with commentary from the two hosts, but music from the DJ only in certain areas. The system comprised a mixture of multiple small speakers as well as a DJ system.
The music from the DJ needed to be time aligned around the venue, but the hosts' mics couldn't be as they were moving around the arena. Using a combination of aux sends, matrices and groups on the digital console, we were able to achieve the coverage needed to provide seamless audio to all areas of the venue, in a difficult acoustic environment, where excessive reverb would normally make clear speech intelligibility difficult to achieve.
It was a great experience to tour with the team and witness the progression of the tournament 🏆

Back at @lab11warehouse last weekend with @wyld.official for their summer closing party, with @maxdeanmusic and @ryanresso 🔊🎵🔊🎵. It was a sell out crowd and packed from early in the day. All of the DJs smashed it and great to work with Max Dean again.
@funktiononeofficial Vero VX and F124 covered the tent with plenty of headroom and it sounded stunning as usual. @linearesearch amplifiers providing the power with an @allenandheath SQ5 at the front end.

🏳️🌈 Leeds and Nottingham Prides this year with our Funktion-One system on the float for @roxyballroom and full production for the main stage in Leeds. It was a bit wet in Leeds, but the crowd was amazing from start to finish. We had our Vero VX system, video wall and lighting on the main stage with performances from many well loved artists including the @the.cheekygirls and @chappellroan 🏳️🌈
