During a Bible Listening Group training in Pokot, we met a widow grieving the loss of her husband. In the middle of sorrow, something unexpected brought her comfort โ the Word of God. Pads4Pupils has definitely been having Isaiah 55:9 moments this year. God has been busy working, but not in ways we have planned or expected.
After plans to travel to Ethiopia were cancelled because of health issues, we made arrangements to have supplies delivered to the Hope for Children Orphanage in Gambella. But God had other plans.
Itโs a long story, but the supplies ended up with ABWE in Togo, West Africa, headed to a rural area in need. Once we were able to make all the connections, we realized that some of our team members have relationships with ABWE missionaries in Togo and that God was on the move. We met online with the missionary, arranged for French training materials, and outreach is beginning.
Please be praying for Beky and Da Bebe as Beky serves women in Togo. Da Bebe has left for underserved villages with the supplies. She will beย handing out the menstrual supplies as she shares the Gospel. And be praying for how God will use this unexpected opportunity.
Thank you for all the money, supplies and time you have provided so women in Togo can have the resources they need and an opportunity to hear Godโs word.
