Many moons ago we played the @lovelife_party_ boat party in San Diego and instantly clicked with promoter @jimbo_james and his crew. We’ve played many of his parties since but never landed on his @musicis4lovers label, until he asked us to remix @saandmusic ’s new one, Los Angeles. The original has some serious 80s heat, so we went deep into Spirit Catcher mode on the remix. It also has stellar remixes from @mihai_popoviciu and @francescalombardomusic , and it’s out now…
Jamie and @kevinknappofficial have made a hip-hop album, and it’s a lovely piece of music. Laidback, hazy hip-hop, it’s like floating through space wrapped in pillows while Kevin tells you a story. They got me involved with an Audiojack remix of their first single Rabbit Hole, and here it is! Rich (the other one) x
We made this record to build raw dancefloor momentum, at a point when we’d had enough of vocals for a while. Without words in music, you stop trying to make sense of it and just feel the rhythm. It becomes more instinctive, physical, a universal language anyone can connect with.

To say this release has been a long time coming is a bit of an understatement! We very nearly signed @leftwingkody back in 2012, when we helped them get their debut release signed. The plan was always to do something together, but we didn’t imagine it would take 14 years! Then a few months ago, @listentokody sent us some solo stuff, and we knew straight away that this time we had to make it happen.
