Nest is a quest, a chapter of my life during which I had to relearn everything. I found so much joy in this project: in doing something from scratch, being in my body, dancing and singing, creating funky and poetic visuals. It has been my way of surviving this world, of making sense of things.
Nest is a story of transformation. An electro-grunge, bilingual album. 5 tracks were recorded live with my band, no metronome. 5 tracks are electronic, using my own nature and instrument samples. The album was written between nature and cities, between the mountains of Central America, Montréal, and Quebec City. It holds so much love and devotion. I only wish now that it finds the people who need it.
