You might need shades when talking about the future of @idwpublishing (unless you're talking about their horror imprint line 😅), because it's looking pretty damn bright for the publisher
Everything from TMNT, their new horror imprint: IDW Dark, Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees, Star Trek, etc. all seem to be firing on all cylinders creatively and critically
@greggkatzman , shared a plethora of news and updates regarding what the rest of the year, and 2026, look like for comic fans
What're you looking forward to most from IDW?
Another #NYCC in the books. Lucky #13 for me. So here's a #lategram as the Zed's would say but I've been go-go-go since we wrapped the show. Such a wild time. Incredible to see old friends, some new faces, rad places and having #bttwns win the Harvey's Book of the Year award goes to show @idwpublishing is doing amazing things. Couldn't ask for better talent or a better team. Until the next one! 🤘🏻
Huge thanks to my team at @idwpublishing for making this an incredible year! @tmnt at an all-time high and @catbirdplanet 's 'Beneath the Trees' crushing best-of lists. 2025 will see some big moves for @godzilla_toho + @startrek and a whole new horror imprint... #idwdark - let's party 🎉🥂😎
It's always the BEST with these guys!! Thanks for the great times together ❤️ We love you 😍 💋 @aubdriver IDW ROCKS!!! @idwpublishing 🤘😛🤘

This hurts in a massive way. Freya, 16, an incredible creature and my first cat as an adult, crossed the rainbow bridge on her own terms Monday evening. I was present alongside her companions and she made her intentions clear. I adopted Freya in 2008 in Seattle when she was a "gym cat" from the 24 Hour Fitness in Queen Anne and hated people. She was always her own being and hissing was her first nature, but she came to trust me and was loving and gorgeous. We moved to Portland in 2011 and the rest, they say, is history. So many memories together, most notable of course is our "Metal Cats" photo which we did in 2012 and was forever immortalized in a book which benefited cats in no-kill-shelters up and down the West Coast. She was an icon and never knew it.
Freya, you were so special and so loved and I will remember you forever. Safe travels to Valhalla, my love. We will see you on the other side. ❤️
Last Thursday, our sweet Widget crossed over to the other side. She was a kitten-faced 17-year old sweetheart that I bonded with immediately. She was always alert, curious, and gentle even to the very end. Big beautiful eyes and a lovely coat.
She developed an aggressive injection-site sarcoma on her rear leg in October, so we opted for amputation. She healed nicely and for an old cat and we were on the road to recovery. Until we weren't. It was all very sudden but there were signs cancer had spread to her lungs. She couldn't breath and we had to make that awful decision that no one ever wants to make. She went peacefully, no more pain.
She was an amazing floof. And talkative. Always greeted me when I came in the room. Slept beneath my desk while I was working and would paw at my leg when she wanted to be in my lap. I loved and cared for her so very much. She's forever in my heart. Sweet Squidge. ❤️😿
