Little Lime was late to bed so we skipped the current novel as we usually read a couple of chapters. Poetry or Picture Book? I asked. He chose PB. I lost count of how many times he said "Brilliant". #Reading #RfP #picturebooks #bedtimestory👌🏻🤩 (He's nearly 9 and a very confident reader btw. We try to read up, down and all around in this house!).

Picked up a preloved copy of Little Women on a visit to one of our favourite local bookshops. Along with many people, I was put off reading anything remotely resembling a 'classic' at school, but I dared to dip my toe back in and this was a gentle choice. Now, should I revisit the 1994 film or try the 2019..?
