Tomorrow David and I will also lead exclusive workshops for students during MCJR Week tomorrow Wednesday, April 3, for those aspiring towards a writing, directing, or acting career in film and entertainment.
Also, I'm thrilled to share that our HBCU Next Fellowship applications are now open. This innovative summer program at USC, developed by David E. Talbert in collaboration with the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, connects HBCU students to one of the top media education institutions. It's a fantastic opportunity for immersive learning in screenwriting, directing, animation, producing, editing, and gaming.
Qualified and selected student(s) will get round-trip airfare to Los Angeles, fully paid summer tuition at USC with housing, and a comprehensive educational experience to enrich their academic journey and ensure authentic representation of Black culture in media.
