Recently, I had a friend use a different real estate agent because they forgot I was one. Instead of getting upset at them, I decided to be disappointed in my own failure to do a good enough job at promoting myself. Well, here is your reminder:
We had to say goodbye to our beloved Brody today. It was very sudden, but he’s no longer in pain.
Brody brought so much joy to so many people and other dogs (but definitely not bunnies or squirrels). He was always up for a game of fetch—a challenging one, as he always made you chase him after you threw the ball.
He would always greet people by grabbing his collar and sprinting toward the front door, his tail always wagging. It was a strange tradition, but one I’ll miss forever. We were told it was the retriever in him—always wanting to bring you something.
Brody always wanted to “hold your hand.” He’d sit in front of you, stick his paw out, asking for yours in return—or maybe he just thought we always had treats in our pockets? He was stubborn (the poodle in him) and knew he was a good-looking dog, barking until you let him in from outside or pet him in his favorite spot.
I’ll miss all the little things that made him part of our family. I love you, Bro.
