Wedding ceremony tips you’ll actually be glad someone told you ✨
Your ceremony goes by SO fast. One minute the doors are opening, and the next you’re walking back down the aisle married. Here are a few little things that make a big difference!
🤍 Walk slower than feels natural
Taking your time down the aisle helps calm nerves, gives your photographer better moments to capture, and lets you actually soak everything in.
🤍 Hold your bouquet lower
A simple one, but it changes your photos so much! Holding your bouquet lower helps keep your dress details visible and opens up your posture in photos.
🤍 Ask guests to stay unplugged
There is nothing worse than phones and iPads blocking your professional photos during one of the biggest moments of your life. Let your guests be fully present with you!
🤍 Look at each other during your vows
When the nerves kick in, couples naturally tend to focus on the officiant or guests. Try to keep bringing your attention back to each other throughout the ceremony. Those little moments of eye contact help you stay grounded and fully present in what the day is really about.
🤍 Take a private moment together afterward
Before jumping into the celebration, take a few minutes alone together. No guests, no timeline talk, no distractions. Just the two of you soaking in the fact that you’re officially married.
