Producers Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland are known for their high-quality output and efficient workflow across regional, national, and international artists. After founding Atrium Audio in Lancaster, PA, they built a strong reputation in rock and metal before opening a new studio on the Rock Lititz campus in 2020.
They’ve worked with a wide range of artists including August Burns Red, Lorna Shore, Texas In July, From Ashes To New, Silverstein, Candlebox, The Ghost Inside, and many more.
Their production work on August Burns Red’s album Found in Far Away Places debuted in the Billboard 200 Top Ten and earned a 2016 Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance. They received another Grammy nomination in 2018 for “Invisible Enemy” from Phantom Anthem.
Beyond the studio, they co-founded Galactic Empire, a Star Wars-inspired instrumental metal band whose viral debut video surpassed 10 million views and led to national media coverage and a live TV performance during the 2016 Academy Awards. The band has released four full-length albums and toured internationally, supporting major acts including Ozzy Osbourne and Babymetal.

“Cultures of Violence” is the second track from our upcoming album Pale Reflection and one of the tunes we were really looking forward to getting out there. It’s a bit in the middle of the vibe from our last record and how far we expand things on this new one.
Mostly recorded, mixed, and mastered at @atriumaudio in the very chill town of Lititz, PA, where some people are still out there cruising around in premium horse buggies.
