We had a fantastic evening at ARTET JAZZ NIGHT featuring the Flock Preventers from 6-8pm! This experimental rock jazz group delivered an unforgettable musical experience.
A big shoutout to ARTET for sponsoring the event, which not only supported talented jazz musicians but also gave attendees a chance to savor their delightful infused aperitifs.
The gathering was all about celebrating our local community, connecting through the magic of music, and appreciating the artistry of our musicians. We’re already looking forward to next month for another fantastic evening of jazz! #rebusworks #Artet #jazz
This month’s ARTET Jazz Night features Flock Preventers! Well, sometimes they’re called Forgery Patrol. Actually, sometimes they’re Atomwrec Bob’s Fire Place.
Anyhoo…whatever name they go with, they’re a jazz workshop ensemble with a fluctuating membership (and band name) under the leadership of Crowmeat Bob, with Liik Reynolds on tenor sax and Frank Meadows on bass.
I posted a "single" on my bandcamp page yesterday of a trio version of my band that's playing tonight.
Featuring David Landes on drums and Matt Booth on bass.
It's pretty good.

Hey y'all, Arachnids (Danny Vaughn, Viswas Chitnis, Mike Isenberg, Chris Eubank, and myselves) are playing at 4 pm at Berkeley for the Psychedelic Sundays Celebration. Four bands between 4:00 and 8:30 or so.
Coming up this Friday, gonna be a darn good show.
You know, microtonal Egyptian guitarist Maurice Louca from Dwarfs of East Agouza.
