A lovely day spent at Godalming Spring Fair today đˇđś
The ChoirBLAST team has loved being on the Burys Field, chatting to the local community, sharing news about our community choirs, and spreading the word about everything weâve got coming up for this yearâs festival.
In this video, youâll hear from Tom, our brilliant Lead Volunteer Coordinator, who spent the day helping visitors learn more about ChoirBLAST and how they can get involved.
A huge thank you as well to our amazing team of volunteers who supported us throughout the day, bringing plenty of energy (and smiles!) to our stand.
And of course, thank you to A Touch of Musicality students and Jazz Choirs for keeping the fair entertained with fantastic performances across the day đ¤â¨
It feels extra special to be here on Burys Field exactly 6 weeks ahead of the festival⌠itâs all starting to feel very real now.
We canât wait to welcome you all back soon đ

Thereâs something really special about watching musical confidence grow â and thatâs exactly what A Touch Of Musicality is all about. Weâre so pleased to have them sponsoring The Bee stage at ChoirBLAST 2025.
Based on Mill Lane in Godalming, and founded by Matt and Phoebe Gaydon, ATOM has been nurturing musicians since 2018. Their approach is simple but powerful: start with that small spark â the âatomâ of musicality â and help it grow, whatever your age or experience.
From singing and piano to songwriting and composition, their warm and welcoming studio is a place where people can learn, develop and enjoy making music in their own way.
Thank you to A Touch Of Musicality for supporting the next generation of musicians and helping us create space for even more voices to be heard. đśđ
Small people. Big harmonies. Occasional cheeky grins.
Weâre so happy to welcome ATOM Youth Choir back to ChoirBLAST Festival for 2026.
A non auditioned group of 7â14 year olds who love singing together and really love harmony. Up to five parts, new arrangements, and contemporary songs they make completely their own.
What makes them special is the way they listen to each other. Curious, brave, and clearly having a good time. Sometimes they even crack a smile đ

GREAT SOUTH RUN!
Sponsor PHOEBE or if you canât share this postâŚIâll be eternally grateful. đĽ°đĽ° link in BIO
/page/godalming-business-community-2
If you guys know me then youâll know I have dabbled in running throughout my adult life but Iâve never managed to do any kind of distance run, so when Lizzie from Daisy Sandwiches Godalming Station said to me âFancy doing the Great South Run this yearâ, I signed up there and then, whilst ordering my sandwich.
About a week later I realised what I had signed up for...a 10 mile run. The longest distance I had previously run was about 5k in a race situation, so, as many of you will know, I take a challenge very seriously, which means I have been training hard and go out running up to four times a week currently to make this happen.
Running for me is definitely a little bit of headspace, but if you sing with me, then you might also know itâs a time for me to think about choir arrangements as Iâm pounding the pavements.
Which means its only fitting to be raising money for ChoirBLAST. Lots of you will know about the ChoirBLAST annual festival which is a beautiful, joyful event, free to attend and free to perform in and completely diverse and competitive. A little idea I had about three years ago, which is now an epic undertaking each year and solely reliant on funds and volunteers.
But just as important is the day to day work we are doing to provide community choirs to those who need them on a weekly basis, we are currently creating and running 7 community choirs as ChoirBLAST, which aid kids in nurseryâs and schools who donât have a choir to come along and sing weekly with their friends, for free. We also work in close partnership with some amazing local charities The Meath Epilepsy Charity and The halow project and Pond Meadow SEND school to provide choirs to those with severe disabilities. It costs up to ÂŁ7,000 a year to provide some of these choirs.
By donating, youâre not only helping me to keep running, you never know I might take on the Marathon one day, but you are also enriching the lives of those who need singing.
