❓Why did you choose to pursue a career in your field?
💬 Growth is an amazing field if you get bored easily. The landscape is always changing and there’s always more to learn. You also get to be a jack of all trades (with the slight downside of being a master of none).
❓High-level what is a painted door test?
💬 Painted door tests = demand tests. It’s a way for us to gauge whether or not there’s demand for a product or service prior to building it out. We spin up a website, some ads or emails, let them loose (strategically, of course), and compare results against benchmarks to see if we have a winning idea!

▫️ Gaurav is a student at UCSD where he is studying Math and Computer Science! He has a bacgeound in product management and GTM in startups and larger companies. In the last few years, he has also co-founded and raised a student-run dund focused on investing in student startups in SoCal. Currently he is working on one of Atomic’s new incubations and he is super excited to experience building 0-1.
▫️ Meredith is currently pursuing her MBA at Wharton and interning on the Strategic Finance Team for Atomic this summer. Prior to Wharton She worked as a private equity associate at New Mountain Capital and as an Investment Banking Analyst in Morgan Stanley's Global Power & Utilities Group. Meredith graduated from Duke University in 2017 with a B.S. in Economics.
▫️ Sabrina grew up in the suburbs of NY, moved to the city for school, and then never left. She will be making the coastal transition out to Palo Alto this fall to start her MBA at Stanford. Although she started her career as a management consultant, she has always been drawn to social enterprise. Having witnessed the struggles of managing chronic conditions first-hand, she is passionate about digital health and doing well by doing good. Most recently, she worked on a few early-stage ventures in sleep medicine and pediatric nutrition. She feels fortunate to have the opportunity to build exciting things at Atomic, while learning about new industries. She spends a lot of my free time lifting weights, writing, and finding a way to laugh.

▫️ Aditya is a student at Stanford pursuing a double major in electrical engineering and computer science. He is interested in building technology which helps people connect with each other.
▫️ Prithvi is majoring in CS + Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He is interested in crypto and startups.
▫️ Aryan got hooked to building products after breaking his mom's hairdryer and building a new one in the 2nd grade. He has never looked back since. Aryan has built cars, line following bots to distribute textbooks, affordable prosthetic limbs, self-assembled EMG machines, Tesla-based collision prevention mechanisms, 3rd party contact tracing services for India and Brazil, etc.
▫️Marcus is passionate about developing solutions to problems around us. He is the creator of NOGOS, a $2 water filter for developing countries made out of sugar, sand, and shells. He is currently studying Electrical & Computer Engineering at Duke University.

▫️Benji was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He’s passionate about building and investing in great companies and is currently pursuing my MBA at Harvard Business School. He worked as an operator within startups for the majority of his time before b-school, and started a career in consulting. In his free time, he loves watching sports and enjoying a good bottomless brunch.
▫️Alice is a Michigan native and attended undergrad at University of Michigan. After graduating she moved to the SF Bay Area and worked in finance, specifically in technology investment banking and growth equity covering technology and digital health companies. Currently, she is pursuing her MBA at Harvard Business School. In her free time, she loves spending time with friends & family, trying new pizza spots, and doing photography, dance, yoga, and mentorship.
▫️ Celina is a rising junior at Duke University studying Computer Science, Biology, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. She is constantly exploring different fields, most recently working in data engineering at Tesla, social media management at Contrary Capital, marketing at Alloy Automation, and now early stage business ops at Atomic. She’s also spent the last 4 years creating content on Instagram and founding her own sticker/graphic design business, celfstudio!

▫️ Madeline is born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She studied systems engineering at University of Southern California and has spent the last five years based in Shanghai, Seattle, and Hong Kong managing hardware product development at Microsoft. Currently she is pursuing her MBA at Harvard Business School.
▫️ Justin is an MBA candidate at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his bachelor's in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida in 2014 and master's in Information Technology from Virginia Tech in 2019, focusing on Machine Learning and Software Development. Prior to Wharton, Justin was a Technical Program Manager at Google, overseeing the data center design and construction for Google Cloud Interconnect's global metro expansion and subsea cable projects across the world. Prior to Google, Justin oversaw the global expansion of Visa's payment network in the Asia Pacific region. Recently, Justin created and launched a Tableau-based data visualization curriculum with inventXYZ.
▫️ Shangbing grew up in Toronto, Canada. In school, she launched a morning and night toothpaste infused with different VMS that helped you wake up in the morning and fall asleep at night. She is excited to work in Atomic’s enthusiastic environment and brainstorm new ways to approach problems!
▫️ Mohamad Elgendi grew up in Cairo, Egypt. He just graduated from Hopkins with a Master's degree in Engineering Management. During grad school, he started a B2B SaaS company called Personix. He’s passionate about entrepreneurship and getting stuff done. He loves both the idea and execution of Atomic.
▫️ Ollie is a rising 2nd year MBA student at Wharton, focusing on finance and entreprenuership. Previously, he worked in Healthcare VC and now runs his own Company, Hotelify. He is originally from the Boston area and love being outdoors, particularly snowboarding, sailing, and biking.

▫️ Anna is a rising senior at Columbia University where she studies English. As a self-taught designer, she is fascinated by storytelling through multiple registers by combining her field of study with her love for visual communication. After working in the startup world in both marketing and design positions, she is super excited to come to Atomic and contribute to the startups (and people!) that have the potential to change the world.
▫️ Kia is a rising senior at Brown University from Helsinki, Finland. From leading Brown’s own venture fund, growing Dorm Room Fund’s brand, to investing in fintech companies in Frankfurt, Kia has a deep love and passion for all things entrepreneurship and storytelling. In the past, she has worked as a Peace Ambassador for Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and produced episodes for the Finnish morning show.

▫️ Kate just finished her first year in Philadelphia, completing year one of Wharton's MBA program with a concentration in Health Care Management. Kate began her career in finance on Wall Street as a high yield research analyst before pivoting to healthcare startups across a number of functions. She has since been obsessed with how to build mission-driven companies.
▫️ Sanvar has been building ventures since the age of 13 - from retailing premium soccer balls in grade 7 to building Medium.com for India and founding-scaling-exiting one of Asia's biggest AgBioTech social enterprises. He has a deep love & passion for the magical realism created at the intersection of cutting edge science, innovative business models, and social impact.
