After two years of tireless planning and fundraising, my team and I achieved an extraordinary milestone: bringing together over 1,000 women for a groundbreaking conference. Our journey began with a shared vision of creating a space where women could pray together, be empowered, and inspire one another across diverse fields and backgrounds. With countless hours of prayer, outreach, and engagement, we secured the resources to turn our dream into reality. The conference featured dynamic speakers, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities that fostered both personal and spiritual growth. However, as the event approached, I faced a daunting challenge. I had traveled out of the country and was scheduled to return four days before the conference, but an IT system crash grounded all flights. Stranded at the airport for three days, with my bags already checked in, I experienced one of the most trying moments of my life. Exhausted and feverish from the ordeal, I arrived back in Lagos just in time, by God’s grace, to attend the conference. Despite all odds, the event was a resounding success. Many attendees shared testimonies, calling it “the best edition so far” and marveling at how the bar had been raised. To those who asked how we did it, my answer was simple: God did it, and all glory belongs to Him. I remain deeply grateful to everyone who supported this mission—may you never be found wanting in Jesus’ name.
