Here are a few snaps from our most recent concert at the @bradleyobservatory at @agnesscottcollege . We had so much fun sharing the bill with @atlcmc , bringing the old and new music closer together, and also being part of the @atlantasoundnowfestival for the first time. A huge thank you to all our amazing colleagues - we had so much fun rehearsing and performing together and we’re already looking forward to the next project. Stay tuned!

Experience a powerful program featuring winners of Bent Frequency’s 5th annual Underscore competition and Steve Reich’s iconic Music for 18 Musicians.
Underscore is BF’s open call for scores, receiving over 2,500 submissions since 2021. This year, we are thrilled to present Ella Kaale’s perfect lovers, Ilana Waniuk’s Arcana Minor, and João Pedro Oliveria’s Improvisation on a Poem by Augusto de Campos.
We also celebrate the 50th anniversary of Music for 18 Musicians and Steve Reich’s 90th birthday. Presented in collaboration with Atlanta Contemporary Music Collective, Chamber Cartel, ensemble vim, and smol ensemble, this minimalist masterpiece promises a stunning sonic experience and a fitting season finale.
Ticket RSVP’s are free and are limited to 4 tickets per person. We are thrilled to offer this event free of charge for all, but welcome donations of any amount (fully tax deductible!). Your donation does more than support music, it enables us to create events that are accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. Donations for this event will benefit all ensembles performing.

A 💗 wok concerto 💗 was borne last night with @atlcmc !! This is a dream project that I've been brewing internally for years, and am so thankful to @brysocki@djrperc@christopher_akos for being so supportive and making this happen! A few bows and many tubs of great northern beans were sacrificed, but all in the name of very serious, delicious art! 🤤
(So incredible to see many generations of @ugacomposers at the concert last night--leading, performing, supporting... It is so cool to be a part of our fam!)
