PTE Surgery Journey - one week of testing with some free time to explore San Diego, and then surgery/recovery. My fave day was Saturday the 7th. We knew I had to check in the next day and future was so uncertain so we did EVERYTHING! Selfie photo shoot, first time on an aircraft carrier, hit a classic boardwalk amusement park, and dipped my toes in the ocean! Jeff was a rockstar (and my rock). Surgery day to flight home was only one week. Amazing PTE surgery team at UCSD Health!
Less than 5 months after open heart/lung surgery, I’m back in the studio for the first time in over 2 years! Safe to say my heart (and lungs) are feeling very happy today. Thank you to my surgical team at UCSD, my lung disease team at Piedmont Atlanta and the best Irish dance coach in the world!
