I stopped by the new @secondchance_plants pop-up in Broomall last week, and it was awesome. There’s a solid variety of new little friends to choose from: herbs, veggies, native plants, shrubs, trees, mulch, pots, and more. Plus, you get to plop it all into a cute yellow wagon.
I got a nice haul, including potting soil, for under $40. Love the concept, and this location is literally five minutes from my house. (Same parking lot as PetSmart, Planet Fitness, etc.)
I’ve been having a lot of fun with my garden over the years, expanding it and trying to keep the pollinators in mind. And because I’m a realtor, I’ll plug that landscaping and gardens definitely add value to a home.

There’s a joke in real estate that if you want to get busy, go on vacation. Well, it held true here! We listed a loved and impeccably cared for family home in Springfield on a Wednesday and by Friday, I was checking my phone between rides in Animal Kingdom at Disney, and saw multiple amazing offers come in. Jokes aside, this house was poised to sell whether I was away or not.
One of my favorite parts of this process is hearing the stories and memories tied to a home. On their final walkthrough, the family even found a special childhood toy that belongs to their now adult daughter 🧸.
They handed over the home so beautifully, with crisp vacuum lines, a bottle of champagne for the buyers, a two-page personal letter filled with info on the home, contact info for vendors and contractors they used, well wishes, and every appliance manual neatly packed in a ziplock. I mean, next-level care.
THANK YOU to the sellers for trusting our process. And to @moniquemoffett_realtor for being wonderful to work with on the buy-side. Wishing the new homeowners all the best as they start their next chapter. 🥂
