Finally getting around to celebrating those who got me through last week and being able to give life to this extraordinary woman in this thrilling story. Couldn’t have made it through without my ride or die @shereen_ahmed and @caitlinobri3n or THE friend to go through the week with @_ill_lil_ . Instagram boyfriend of the year goes to @itspaolomontalban . I am lucky to be in a cast with these constant cheerleaders @thefeliciacurry@delphiborich Sir Tony Newfield @natalyalynetterathnam@regina.r.aquino Lise @jake.yeh@noah_mutterperl@petersbrain.art@lilypadpond4848 and my other mother Kim Bey. Also the man who reminded to me breathe and focus through it all (and not make an ass out of myself), the one and only @aj_shively . Deep gratitude to stage management, wardrobe, wig teams for making sure all of it could happen effortlessly. Very very blessed to live in the words and world. Now let’s close this baby!
And just like that the DC run of Leopoldstadt has come and gone quicker than this quick-change. What a lovely thing to tell Sir Tom’s epic at my home base and with my new found family of actors. Thank you to @huntingtontheatre for sending us on our way with such care and to @shakespeareindc for being our home this winter. Special shout of to the amazing casting director @danicarodriguezcasting for assembling this fabulous cast, and bringing in the young talent for this leg of the run, always the magnificent @carey.perloff , and the extraordinary @ru_kay_kay and @sherribramlett for effortlessly making that quick-change one of the highlights of my night. 🕰️
I tried to put into words what Leopoldstadt at @huntingtontheatre has been like over the last few months, but drew a blank. To put it simply, this has been a dream, from the constantly inspiring cast, to the care and comedy of the crew/design team and FOH, and especially the incredible direction of the one and only Carey Perloff. Led by the visionary Loretta Greco, we made palpable lives real every night.

She did it! I ran a 5k today celebrating the life of my dad and other people in my life who have been affected by prostate cancer. I got to wear my dad’s college track shirt too! Thank you to everyone you donated and cheered me on. @zeroprostatecancer
