New album « The Chamber Music » by @athane.studio out now !
At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, a distinctive aesthetic emerged in France, rooted in the Enlightenment, Impressionist painting, and a cosmopolitan spirit that permeated the entire creative landscape. Paris established itself as the capital of the arts. In contrast to the orchestral power of the German and Austrian schools, Debussy, Ravel, and Fauré shaped a style defined by pastel harmonies and great melodic refinement. The compositions of Pierre-André Athané follow in this tradition, capturing with sensitivity and accuracy the spirit of this major period in French cultural history.

Hier soir à La Station de Châtellerault le premier concert du new mondays quartet avec Sébastien Mittault au piano, Myliann Rosell Acquette à la guitare et Christophe Dumay au saxo. Les magnifiques photos sont de Tony Sears.
C'était avant hier au studio Sequenza à Montreuil près de Paris.
Thomas Vingtrinier, ingénieur du son, a brillamment enregistré et dirigé avec moi cette séance, consacrée à trois de mes œuvres pour quatuor et quatuor avec piano.
Madeleine Athané-best et Mariam Mnatsakanyan étaient au violon, Florian Deschodt à l'alto (tous trois membres du quatuor AREV), Ylian Bessaoud était au violoncelle et Mathilde Nguyễn au piano.
Une séance magique avec des interprètes attentifs, sensibles et talentueux, un grand merci à eux !
Il reste à monter et mixer tout çà.😊
