Eagerly awaiting the Artemis II flyby, I decided to take some time today to draw Atem, inspired by one of my favorite images of him in his astronaut suit💜🌌 For those who don't know (or are living under a rock) the Artemis II mission is bringing humans back to the Moon, and the flyby will take place today!🚀🌑 There won't be a moon landing; the Orion capsule will carry astronauts around the Moon and return to Earth on April 10th, and as an astronomy enthusiast I'm following this mission 24/7 with great excitement! Humans have never been so far from home, and on board there is also a woman (a super woman, Christina Koch) and this makes me very proud💜 "Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Here's a quick look at two returning faces with aged-up designs by @atemethyst : Otogi and Marik! For Marik, the overall idea was similar to what we went for with Jonouchi; More streamlined hair that's slightly shorter, but still very much identifiable and unique in it's own right. The idea is that it's meant to give off a sense that Marik is now more accustomed to a regular and ordinary life after Battle City and Atem's departure, hence why his hair was trimmed down by a bit. As was mentioned, here is the current production update! -Assets for the first two scenes have been finalized, while the assets for the next scene is currently in the production phase. -Team expansion is underway, with animation alternatives currently being explored and evaluated. Nothing has been decided so far. -As you can see, the team has decided to fully commit to a Japanese-first approach. For those unaware, the title reads "Sennen no Seisan" (Seisan roughly meaning 'retribution' or 'settlement', which ties into the overarching plot. No spoilers.) With this commitment, part of the aforementioned team expansion will entail finding help for localization and translations. This means we are currently looking for help with Japanese translation efforts pertaining to scripts, and potentially for future voice casting endeavors. (Casting platforms are not locked in just yet) For those curious or who wish to help with localization, you are free to leave a comment if you are interested in helping us with this.
