Atalanta’s founder Mary Cain has been hard at work not only in medical school but writing her book! Mary had this to say about her memoir, “I am so excited to share This Is Not About Running. I was driven to write my memoir so that others could learn from my negative experiences in running and be inspired to make sports better for the next generation. So in many ways, my why for writing was the same as my why for founding Atalanta NYC. I hope my story continues the conversation of how we can make sports safer and more empowering for all girls.”
