IT'S BOOK LAUNCH DAY!! 🎉 I can hardly believe it, and I'm feeling all of the emotions today. This book at its core is truly about you and how to make your home reflect you and your story. Home is more than a collection of pretty things, even interesting things...it's a pathway to show your authentic self to the people around you, it's a way to help you reflect and remind you who you are - it's a way to build community. The seven questions I use for my clients (and myself!) to put your story into your home are all here, plus my now not so secret 😉 tried-and-true pieces of advice on how to make your home function best for you. And I'm giving you a full, detailed tour of my ground-up build, my new house that identifies as old. I hope you feel seen by this book, and I hope you read it and enjoy it (there's also an audiobook narrated by me!), and I hope you want to share it with your friends and family. Because the truth is, you are here for a reason, and we need you. May you find your storied style, and may your table be crowded. Hope you feel my hug and thank you 🤟🏼 Many thanks to everyone who touched this book at @harperhorizon , @dholdway who made it shine, @iecbuild who built the place we are grateful to call home every day, and to @doyouknowashlow whose artistry captured and created this beautiful video. And special thanks to my family and friends who walked through this years long process with me. 🤍

🥳 A BIG announcement and enormous labor of love, my first design book, Storied Style, is available for preorder! I legitimately cannot believe I'm typing this to you! (Eight-year-old me is seriously geeking out) The book will officially be released on October 28, 2025, and you can pre-order now!! CHEERS ALL AROUND! (Link in bio to order your copy!) Putting your story in your home is definitely more talked about now than it was a decade and a half ago when I first started out in the design world, but no one explains how to do it-until now! In this book, I outline the exact process I use for clients and myself, highlighting the seven questions to ask yourself. This is not your typical design book! I think you will be surprised by its contents! It is all real life, tried and true advice, with a large dose of hopefulness, Anne of Green Gables style. It's not about perfection, it's about celebrating who you are, where you've been, and the life you get to offer other people to share with you. I'm also truly overjoyed to be revealing my own home, a ground up new build constructed of mainly old things - architectural salvage, pieces found in fields, and items hiding in my storage unit. My family of six lived in an airstream for two and a half years while we waited for our home to be ready, an adventure in and of itself! There's a whole section of the book dedicated to this too. :-) The deep gratitude I feel for this opportunity and for those of you who have supported me and made this book a reality is vast. Thank you, thank you. Pre-ordering books is so very important for artists like myself. This book, these stories, and the words I felt led to write, become powerful in your hands. I can't wait to see what you do with it. Hope you feel my hug, g xoxo Many thanks to: Publisher: @harperhorizon Cover Photographer: @amyneunsinger Cover Stylist: @hilaryrobertson Book Designer: @dholdway

Just two gals happy as can be in a sea of Willy Guhl. The other day we got to chat with @yolojournal about Round Top, one of our favorite places in the world, and why this tiny little town and the people in it continue to inspire how we live and create together as the @rough.housers . After the whirlwind of the Antique Fair, we closed out the week in the most meaningful way — in support of children and families across Central Texas. Rancho was honored to host @thearfoundation , @brooklyndecker , @leannefordinteriors , and @astoriedstyle for an evening rooted in connection, creativity, generosity, and heart. It was the kind of night that reminds you what really matters: showing up for one another, finding purpose in what you love, and turning that into something bigger than yourself. Thank you to all the vendors and individuals who participated and supported. For more information and ways to give, visit 🤍 Video: @haydenghyde

Another magical Round Top night in the books! Shout out to @brooklyndecker for having us out to @ranchopillow for such a special evening. Good food, god chats, and the best company — the kind that reminds us why we love coming back here again and again. Grateful to share the night talking about creativity, helping others find their way, friendship, and making things together in a place that always feels like home. Round Top, we love you! // #LeanneFordInteriors and #StoriedStyleInteriors shot by @sarahbarlow

This sink has now lived two lives thanks to our #LeftoversHouse. From small-town Pennsylvania to small-town Texas! It first lived a happy little life in the cottage we designed for Aunt Aya on the show. But when I changed my mind and the cottage got its second makeover, the sink was no longer a fit and had to come out — though it was far too cool to waste. And in general, we don’t like to let anything go to waste. Our industry admittedly isn’t always the most eco-friendly, but we’re always trying to figure out how to save and reuse old things: houses, hardware, windows, sinks… you name it! So we shipped it down to Texas with no real plan, and it ended up finding its forever home in this powder bath. Turns out the scraps can be the best part. Swipe to see this sink’s first home in PA! // #RoundTheRoundTwo designed together as #TheRoughHousers by #StoriedStyleInteriors and #LeanneFordInteriors with the slide 1 shot by @sarahbarlow  and interior styling by @hilaryrobertson and shot 2 by @erinashkelly

Round Top friends! @astoriedstyle and I will be at Rancho Pillow on March 27th for The Round Top Table, a special evening benefiting kids in Central Texas through the Andy Roddick Foundation. We’ll be joining @brooklyndecker for a fireside chat, plus dinner by Chef @tedescofiore under the Texas sky. Would love to see some familiar faces there!!! The rules at our #LeftoversHouse were simple: use what we’ve got! And make it fun. This old display case could have easily been forgotten or overlooked, but instead we turned it into a little kitchen art installation. Since this short-term rental kitchen already had plenty of storage, we decided to use it as a place for vintage art, a few everyday objects, and little treasures that deserve to be seen. Because sometimes the most beautiful thing you can add to a home… is creativity. // #RoundTheRoundTwo designed together as #TheRoughHousers by #StoriedStyleInteriors and #LeanneFordInteriors with the slide 1+2 shot by @sarahbarlow and interior styling by @hilaryrobertson

Old and new — we’ll take it all. Truly. We love what happens when vintage and modern pieces sit side by side. There’s just something that time does to things… an art to it. Vintage pieces have this wise, knowing perspective that new things simply haven’t earned yet. They tell a story. They add dimension, depth, soul. And here’s the secret: new pieces actually look better when they’re next to something old. The patina, the wear, the little quirks — all of that brings a space together and wraps it up in a hug. It softens that “fresh out of the box” feeling that can make a room look pretty but not quite lived-in. When everything in a space is brand new, you might not be able to explain what’s missing… but you’ll feel it. There’s no history, no warmth, no sense of time. Mixing in old pieces brings in that missing dimension. It grounds the room. It gives it heart. And it reminds us that the best homes — like the best people — have layers, stories, and a little bit of beautifully earned wear and tear. // #RoundTheRoundTwo designed together as #TheRoughHousers by #StoriedStyleInteriors and #LeanneFordInteriors shot by @sarahbarlow  with interior styling by @hilaryrobertson

So… which of you lucky ladies is taking this place for this Valentine’s Day weekend?! Tag your sweeties. (Sometimes we have to take matters into our own hands and plan our own party.) (And let’s be honest…sometimes that party is better with friend’s anyway…!) We almost never do window treatments in our projects, and when we do, it’s usually a makeshift curtain out of vintage lace — just like you see here. Tack it up, hang it with a bit of rope… no need to overthink it. It’s soft, simple, and instantly lovely in any space. Like most of our favorite tricks, it takes minimal effort for a big return. // #RoundTheRoundTwo designed together as #TheRoughHousers by #StoriedStyleInteriors and #LeanneFordInteriors shot by @andreacalo with interior styling by @hilaryrobertson

This year, @astoriedstyle and I are putting our Galentine’s dreams out into the universe: a best-friends getaway at our Round Two Project. We designed this house for girls’ trips — from the “ladies” sign on the front door, to the two queen beds perfectly placed for late-night giggles in the primary bedroom, to all the incredible portraits of women throughout the house. Think margaritas on the porch, slow mornings, late nights, and some of the best shopping in Round Top — all with your favorite people. Book your stay at the link in bio. And if you do come with your besties, please send photos! It would absolutely make our month to see this house filled with your memories. // #RoundTheRoundTwo designed together as #TheRoughHousers by #StoriedStyleInteriors and #LeanneFordInteriors images 1-3 shot by @andreacalo and image 4 shot by @sarahbarlow with interior styling by @hilaryrobertson
