Astley was one of the first UK signmakers to recognise the importance of becoming BS EN 1090 for steel fabrication, and we still remain one of only a few that is certified to carry out this type of work in-house.
Now a legal requirement in the UK, BS EN 1090 is required for large structural steel work, and in sign making this could mean large building signage, built-up architectural lettering, freestanding totems and any other built-up brand messaging. This certification guarantees the product has been designed and manufactured using carefully governed and legislative processes in mind to ensure that when these products are installed, they will be safe and not put brands at risk by not performing.

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of spending a fantastic couple of days with the JET team at the annual Forecourt Show at the NEC Birmingham.
Having supported JET for over 20 years with the design, manufacture, and installation of their signage, it was a proud moment to once again work alongside the team and support the features showcased on their stand throughout the event.
The show was a great opportunity to strengthen our long standing partnership, reconnect with familiar faces across the industry, and have some great conversations around all things JET.

From design and manufacture through to installation, our team delivered a full range of exterior and interior signage and brand graphics, bringing Sainsbury's latest branding to life as part of a major store refurbishment.
Working around a live trading environment, it was a project that required careful coordination and the results speak for themselves. The store looks fantastic!
