L'atelier se déroule dans le plaisir et offre différents outils créatifs vous permettant de faire vos propres choix artistiques. Tous niveaux d'expérience en mouvement et capacités sont ́es bienvenus. L'activité s'adresse à des enfants et des adultes, à partir de 5 ans.

We took advantage of those last warm days last week to dive into some shoreline movement exploration 🌊 with changing water levels and changing seasons, how to you work within a place that is always changing?
✨Join us for a series of events led by new ATS member @lucy.fandel ! The link to register is in our bio ✨
In situ, site-adaptive, in socius, hors les murs, place-based, field work. What do we mean when we use these words? How do we put them into practice?
These are among the questions we will explore with other artists in these two weeks of scattered discussions, workshops and shared practices. If you are an artist with a creative practice, interested in the specificities of place-based work with live art/performance, we want to hear from you!
Several activities are facilitated or framed around a specific topic or practice, while the Bring Your Own Place Practice sessions are unstructured, intended for people to share exercises or experiments related to place and performance with one another. The questions are anchored in dance, but we’d also love to hear from people in performance art, sculpture, sound design, visual art, land art, parkour, cultural mediation, protest and healing work…the list goes on.

As They Strike Collective est à la recherche de nouveaux membres!
As They Strike Collective est une collaboration entre les artistes en danse contemporaine Chloe Hart et Stefania Skoryna. As They Strike Collective a pour mission de rencontrer le public dans son espace en construisant un pont entre celui-ci et notre pratique de la danse contemporaine. Nous croyons au travail dans la joie, en libérant la créativité contenue dans la relation entre le corps et l'imagination. Nous cherchons à insuffler une touche d'émerveillement à la vie de tous les jours. Notre démarche est collaborative, à la fois avec les interprètes et les artistes externes, comme la compositrice Christine ML Lee, avec qui nous travaillons depuis 2017. Notre travail a été produit par la Ville de Montréal, Les Amis de la montagne, Les Amis de l’insectarium, le Festival Quartiers Danses, le Festival SOIR, le Festival Arts de Ruelles et le Patro Villeray. Nous sommes également membres du RAR- Regroupement des arts de rue du Québec. Pour plus d'informations sur le collectif, consultez et /astheystrike.
Nous cherchons des membres qui aimeraient s’impliquer un minimum de 5h par mois incluant des tâches administratives et des temps de pratique en studio. Nous ne recherchons pas des interprètes, mais plutôt de nouveaux membres actifs - des artistes désireux.euses de s'investir de manière créative et logistique dans la mission de As They Strike. Nos prochains objectifs sont la diffusion de nos pièces existantes, partager nos ateliers de Création & mouvement à différentes communautés puis plonger dans de nouvelles créations chorégraphiques. Veuillez noter que, comme nous ne disposons pas de financement annuel, nous ne pouvons pas offrir un salaire horaire pour votre investissement, mais, en tant que collectif, nous nous engageons à nous rémunérer pour notre travail par le biais de subventions, d'opportunités de production et d'ateliers.

We had such a great summer! Not only did we get to present Summer Swish with a fabulous team of dancers, but we got to pilot our brand new workshop series! On that note, we have news coming soon.... Stay tuned for an announcement on Monday!
