I have a new story in Issue 4 of A New Sessions. It's about coral death and facing the truth, and is told in two halves. The first half is available to read now, and the second half will replace it whenever a new yearly sea surface temperature is set.
I loved working with editor @june_facts , and appreciate how this piece fits in with the other selections.
You can read it on telnet, at the link in bio, or copy and paste: /story/the_care_of_corals/1
@mprice_90 took these lovely photos with her new/old film camera in December during our trip to Apalachicola. Heavy mist blocked the sun and shrouded the sand dunes and spartina marsh, inducing an ethereal quality similar to what I've grown used to in the PNW. I'm a jumble of these two places now, and it felt appropriate that they would combine in accompaniment to my visit to see family and friends.
