Ahhhh! I’m feeling a rush of pure euphoria sharing this—Lauren and Mike’s wedding is featured on the *front page* of Style Me Pretty today! Their wedding was such an epic celebration of their love, and every single detail was flawlessly executed by their amazing vendor team.
I also have to give a HUGE shoutout to Sierra Ellis and Georgia Panagi, who dropped everything to shoot this with me. My second shooter tested positive for COVID just two days before we were supposed to fly out, and Sierra flew all the way from Oklahoma while Georgia came from NYC. I’m forever grateful for these incredibly talented women who made this happen.
Oh, and can we talk about ephemera?! We were all fangirling so hard—the most insanely talented florist I’ve ever seen! Every detail of this day was next-level, and I’m so thankful to everyone who poured their hearts into it.

Paige + Eric made this whole session feel so effortless. Just two people completely obsessed with each other, laughing nonstop, and somehow making every frame look like a movie scene.

Lillian and David at Stone Haven felt like stepping into another world entirely. The views over the mountains, the glass conservatory glowing at sunset, the couture textures, the movement, the drama… every part of this editorial felt cinematic in the best way.
And then came the dress change.
The feathered hat. The sculptural mini dress. The lace gloves. It felt like old Hollywood glamour mixed with modern bridal fashion and I genuinely could not stop shooting 🤍☁️
This is why I’ll never get over destination weddings and editorials. Beautiful places, insane fashion, couples willing to trust the vision… it honestly feels like creating scenes from a movie in real time.

Palermo sembra appartenere a un’altra epoca. La luce dorata che scivola sull’architettura secolare, le strade silenziose prima che la città si svegli, e il romanticismo nascosto in ogni angolo. 🇮🇹✨
Fotografare questi due qui è sembrato cinematografico nel modo più naturale possibile. Movimento delicato, aria calda, campane che risuonano tra le strade e quella bellezza tipicamente italiana che riesce ad essere allo stesso tempo grandiosa e profondamente intima.
Two years ago I photographed Maria + Isidro in Seville and afterwards we said, “we have to work together again someday.” Somehow the universe listened because we not only created together again in Seville, but also in Cefalù and Palermo. 🌊🍋🎞️
These two are effortlessly beautiful, but what stayed with me most is who they are as people. Genuine, warm, kind, and the type of humans that make everyone around them feel comfortable instantly. Photographing them feels less like directing and more like documenting something naturally beautiful already unfolding.
This editorial in Cefalù felt like stepping into an old world Mediterranean dream. Salt air, linen, lace veils, candlelit dinners, overflowing florals, and the softest coastal light imaginable. Sicily has this romantic, cinematic feeling that almost doesn’t feel real until you experience it yourself. These two were captured on film 🎞️ and digital.

Mara + Drew’s day felt like that perfect in-between moment… when everything is just starting to bloom, the light is soft, and the air still has that quiet, fresh energy of a new season.
The way they looked at each other, the way everyone slowed down for just a second to take it all in… it was one of those days that didn’t need anything extra. It was already everything.
From getting ready with her mom to that first look tucked into all the greenery, to wandering out into the field where it felt like the whole world went still for a minute… this is exactly why I love spring weddings in Ohio.

Freezing temps for May, but you’d never know.
Caylie stepped out in a dress that completely stole the scene, and Logan in that grey suit matched her effortlessly. Downtown Columbus felt cinematic in that quiet, overcast way… the kind of chill that sharpens everything.
And somehow, none of it touched them.
The way they moved, the way they looked at each other… it was warm, easy, completely theirs.

Somewhere between the waiting and the not knowing, film quietly turns into memory.
These just came back and I swear Palermo feels softer on film… like it already belongs to the past. The light spills differently, the colors feel a little worn in, like they’ve been loved before you even saw them. Nothing is rushed, nothing is perfect, and that’s exactly why it feels real.
And now it exists like this… a version of the day that feels more like a memory than a photograph.

Da qualche parte tra l’attesa e il non sapere, la pellicola si trasforma silenziosamente in memoria.
Queste sono appena tornate e giuro che Palermo sulla pellicola sembra più morbida… come se appartenesse già al passato. La luce si posa in modo diverso, i colori sembrano leggermente vissuti, come se fossero stati amati ancora prima di essere visti. Nulla è affrettato, nulla è perfetto, ed è proprio per questo che sembra così reale.
E ora esiste così… una versione del giorno che assomiglia più a un ricordo che a una fotografia.
Questa è la parte che non smetterò mai di amare 🤍
Sicily feels like a love letter you accidentally open and never quite recover from.
Serena and David moved through it slowly… sun-warmed stone, salt in the air, the quiet kind of intimacy that doesn’t ask to be noticed but stays with you anyway.
We climbed rocks, chased light, let the wind take over. Somewhere between the stillness and the laughter, it stopped feeling like a shoot and started feeling like a memory.
This is why I’ll cross oceans for stories like this.

Serena e David si sono mossi dentro tutto questo lentamente… pietre scaldate dal sole, salsedine nell’aria, quel tipo di intimità silenziosa che non chiede di essere notata ma che ti resta dentro comunque.
Abbiamo scalato rocce, inseguito la luce, lasciato fare al vento. Da qualche parte tra la quiete e le risate, ha smesso di sembrare uno shooting e ha iniziato a sembrare un ricordo.
È per questo che attraverserei oceani per storie come questa.
