Our Fall Newsletter is here!
As we close out 2025, I'm grateful for everything we've accomplished together. This session, we secured major wins:
-6 bills signed into law
-Reproductive health data privacy protections
-Mental health warning labels on social media
-FAIR Plan reforms for homeowners
-AI deepfake protections
We've also been fighting hard on the homeowners' insurance crisis and utility rate relief. My team has resolved 554+ constituent cases and recovered over $1 MILLION for families dealing with state agencies.
Whether you need help with EDD, want wildfire prep resources, or want to weigh in on legislation—my door is always open.

Yesterday, I met with @lovelafayette , where I spoke with city officials and public safety. We discussed my e-bike legislation and how to address the growing problem in our communities around safety and education. I shared an update about my ongoing work on wildfire prevention and insurance reform, along with the work I'm doing on PG&E accountability legislation--all critical priorities for our communities. We have so much more to do, and I am so grateful for the thoughtful conversation and partnership.

From my bills eliminating plastic bags at checkout in California (SB 1053, 2024), to pesticide transparency in seeds (AB 1042, 2024), to this year’s bills addressing energy consumption for data centers (AB 1577) and the Nitrogen Pollution Reduction Act to Protect California’s Drinking Water (AB 2447), I’m proud to keep advancing policies in Sacramento that safeguard our environment.
Our communities deserve clean air, safe water, and open spaces- and I’ll keep fighting to deliver that.
Yesterday, I stood alongside @senatorstevepadilla , @asmbuffywicks , and Maria Raine, mother of Adam Raine, as we spoke on SB 1119 / AB 2023.
The premise of these bills is simple: when a new medicine or stroller hits the market, it’s tested before it reaches our kids. So why aren’t we holding technology to the same standard?
