DOLPHIN // an invigorating and emotional body of work meditating on childhood dreams through fearless application of colour and unapologetic mark making. Painted in the Makerspace studio at @theheritagecollective_ , artist @ellecampbellart allows us to join her in an exploration of childhood memories, of traversing unfamiliar waters and entering new chapters. The collection speaks volumes to Campbell’s sacred and personal connection to dolphins developed during her treasured trips to the ocean as a child. “These playful and intelligent marine creatures suggest memories of simpler times as a kid full of imagination, hopes and dreams,” said Campbell. We have cherished every moment working with Elle, kindly thanking her for her trust in allowing us to bring DOLPHIN to life and in no better location than one of the state’s most iconic coastlines - Cottesloe. DOLPHIN is open to the public every weekend through to 31 May, 11am–1pm. DOLPHIN // opened on the Cottesloe coastline on Thursday evening and it was nothing short of magical. @ellecampbellart is a visual storyteller like no other. Painted overlooking one of Australia’s most breathtaking stretches of coastline, DOLPHIN is a body of work that moves you. Layers of scintillating metallic paint and electric colour that shift and shimmer with the light, capturing the haze of the WA sun and the mist of the sea. This exhibition is simply something you have to experience in person. We are so proud to have worked alongside Elle and her tribe over the last five months to bring this vision to life, from the stunning light and soundscape through the 100-year-old Moreton Bay fig trees in partnership with @elitelighting_au (every artwork was translated into a light and sound experience within the public realm), to the three galleries within @theheritagecollective_ buildings. It takes a village, and what a village it was. 🐬 DOLPHIN opens to the public this Saturday (today) and runs every weekend through to 31 May, 11am–1pm. THE COLLAB // Claremont Quarter x Anya Brock Claremont Quarter’s festive season came to life in the most colourful and contemporary way, with an art driven Christmas experience designed in collaboration with celebrated local artist Anya Brock. Throughout December, the centre transformed into an immersive creative zone, inviting families to step into a kaleidoscopic world of puzzles, colour and hands-on fun, all crafted to elevate the holiday atmosphere and santa experience on Level 2. The Claremont Quarter x Anya Brock Christmas activation quickly became a high-engagement destination, drawing 5,334 participants across the month and generating strong dwell time as families explored the giant 2.5m floor puzzle, colouring-in stations and exclusive take-home christmas cards. The bold geometric artwork became one of the most photographed elements of the festive program, amplifying Claremont Quarter’s presence across digital channels and driving centre visitation +3.5% YoY for the December period. The community focused gift wrapping station with Limited Edition Anya Brock gift bags and wrapping paper further strengthened the activation’s impact, raising funds for Foodbank WA. The combined program delivered strong festive momentum for the centre, reinforcing Claremont Quarter as a place where creativity, community and Christmas energy come together. SHINE // bright this festive season. This Christmas, Western Australian artist @anyapaintface is bringing a dazzling splash of kaleidoscopic colour to @claremontquarter including custom gift wrapping that’s almost too good to open. Gift Wrapping Station: Mon 8 – Sun 15 December, 9.30am – 4pm Mon 16 – Tues 24 December, 9.30am – 1pm For a donation to @foodbankwa your gifts will be beautifully wrapped in a choice between a hand-painted Waterloo or Anya Brock Editions wrapping paper. A simple way to spread joy and support those in need this season. Drawing inspiration from the abstract expressionists of 1950s America, her work balances organic exaggeration with recognisable form, creating work without referencing realism. Her colourful original paintings, prints and larger-than-life murals can be found splashed across walls throughout Los Angeles, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Fremantle. Her budgie mural, which adorned four 10-foot windows in Perth, was even featured in the New York Times. Now, her signature geometric compositions are wrapping your Christmas gifts at Claremont Quarter. Visit the Christmas Colouring Zone daily until 24 December on Level 2.

GEO // We watched the first wave of small (and very serious) artists get to work last week for the Christmas @claremontquarter x @anyapaintface collab. Watching this geometric piece come to life over the past few months has been a joy and we can’t wait to see the custom wrapping paper, bags and gift cards in action. If you’re in the area, drop past, colour something in, build a puzzle piece (or twenty), and wander through the Christmas chaos we’ve helped create. The space is packed with all the good stuff: four Christmas card designs to colour, a giant floor puzzle, mini puzzle tables and Anya’s shapes and colour exploded across Level 2. It’s FREE, it’s fun and it runs daily until 24 December. Session times are on the Claremont Quarter website to book your Santa visit and stop by the Anya Brock creative space beforehand. LAUNCHING // COMMUNITY IMPACT AT SCALE When @blu.builders approached Assembly + Co. with their Space Escape Bus, driven by their intent to give back to the community, we saw more than just an activation we saw an opportunity to engineer meaningful community connection at scale. Our approach was comprehensive: conducting a detailed feasibility analysis, negotiating and securing a strategic partnership with @hawaiian_au to flight the experience across their shopping centre locations plus RAC Arena for Telethon7, then project managing from concept to completion. The results speak for themselves: 19 days, 8 shopping centres, 8.79% average foot traffic increase across Hawaiian’s retail portfolio like-for-like YoY, 2,500 participants experienced 20-minute space missions, while every $5 ticket contributed directly to Telethon’s vital programs for WA families with $12,791 raised. This activation demonstrates Assembly + Co.’s unique ability to bridge creative vision with strategic community partnerships, sophisticated project management and flawless multi-site execution. CQ // Airship Orchestra by @studioeness , a 16-strong cast of glowing, inflatable characters (some up to 8 metres tall) - landed at @claremontquarter on 21 May 2025, transforming the centre into a mesmerising hub of culture, connection and creativity. Curated and delivered by Assembly + Co. , in collaboration with the Claremont Quarter management team and Studio ENESS, this activation marked the first time an inflatable artwork of this scale has been presented in a shopping centre setting in Western Australia. The results have been immediate and significant: - Footfall up 10% in week one compared to the same period in 2024 - Sunday visitation up 24.78% year-on-year - Retailer feedback has highlighted stronger foot traffic, brand engagement and uplift in sales This project showcases how intergenerational public art and strategic placemaking can create meaningful moments while delivering real commercial outcomes. By pairing a dynamic seasonal campaign with a globally touring artwork, Claremont Quarter has redefined what’s possible within a retail environment. “The kind of innovation presented through Airship Orchestra builds community pride and connection, while also delivering real results for our retailers.” - Richard Kilbane, CEO, Hawaiian Following Hawaiian’s full acquisition of the centre in October 2024, Claremont Quarter continues to support innovative collaborations that bring the community together.
