To the moms who taught us to fall and laugh about it. To the moms who packed the lunch, drove the carpool, and met us at the bottom of every run. To the moms who showed us how to live fully, in and out of ski boots. Today, and every day, we’re grateful.

Snow line creeping up. Wildflowers creeping out. The trails are starting to whisper. Spring in the Roaring Fork Valley doesn’t ask for attention. You have to look for it. And once you do, it’s everywhere.
Aspen Mountain reopens for weekend ops on May 23. Until then, this is the in-between, and it’s some of the best quiet time we get all year.
First chairs and last laps. Pow days and groomers. Pros, locals, families, and first-timers - all of it, all season. All four mountains had something to say this year. We’re already counting down to the next one.
Our glass is half full. Always has been.
413 trails. 5,680 acres. And a group of people who refused to let anyone, or anything, convince them otherwise.
Call it optimism. Call it stubbornness. We call it Aspen Snowmass.

The last one closed yesterday. Just like that, winter becomes memory. The early mornings, the familiar faces, the runs that caught you off guard and stuck with you. None of it happens without the people who showed up for it, guests and crew alike, every single day. It was a season worth remembering. See you next winter.
