We’re headed ✈️ to Portland for the 2026 International Mass Timber Conference @masstimberconference Our bags are packed 🧳 and we’re ready to go - to Portland! Can’t wait to connect with our partners and peers at this year’s International #MassTimberConference. The 2026 show represents IMTC’s 10th anniversary and we took a quick look at the schedule this year, spoiler alert it’s jam packed with some incredible mass timber content (we’re particularly excited for a few of the keynotes). Leave a comment below if you’ll be there too, it would be great to connect! 🪵👋 #ASPECT #IMTC #masstimber #structuralengineersofinstagram

Mark your calendars 🗓️ for Amir Shahrokhi’s Designing for Repeatability session on March 4th at the Annual Mass Timber Construction Conference in Toronto. About the Session: In his session, Amir will dive into what it means to design for multiples rather than one-off projects. The session will cover leveraging off-site manufacturing through DfMA and using feedback across projects to drive iterative improvement. About the Speaker: Director of Innovation and Associate Principal, Amir Shahrokhi, has 20 years of diverse industry experience delivering projects that range from multi-block urban developments and multi-unit housing, to art installations and gallery spaces. His role as ASPECT’s Director of Innovation was created to uniquely suit Amir’s perspective, fulsome architectural experience, and passion for sustainable mass timber design. In addition to his extensive practical project background, Amir has also lectured at universities across North America, including Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania. Needless to say, this is a session (and a speaker!) you won’t want to miss. Register for the 3rd Annual Mass Timber Construction conference and check out the full program through the links in our bio. #Innovation #Repeatability #DfMA #MassTimber #Construction

Last week, ASPECT was named “BC Top Employer (2026)” 🏆as part of MediaCorp’s competitive Top 100 Employers Project. Some of reasons for ASPECT’s selection included: - Our wellness allowance (to cover costs including gym memberships, ski passes, wellness activities, and fitness classes). - Our Custom Career Roadmap & Plan to help our team define career goals and pathways to achieving them. - Our competitive Paid Time Off Program (with paid vacation that increases with levels and seniority, holiday closure, protected leaves, and more!). The kicker? We’re hiring! If a workplace that values wellness and growth is your ideal workplace, check out our available job postings through the link in our bio. #Hiring #Careers #Vancouver #HiringNow #JobOpening #Engineering
