PCOS is officially being renamed to PMOS. After a 14-year global effort involving 56 professional societies and thousands of patients, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is renamed Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS). The name change signals a move toward a more accurate, holistic approach that looks at impacts on the whole person. Many with the condition don’t have cysts, and the syndrome impacts so much more than just the ovaries, affecting everything from insulin levels and heart health to mental wellbeing. Swipe through to see what this means for you and how the transition will roll out over the next few years. ➡️ #PCOS #PMOS #WomensHealth #HormoneHealth #AskTia

To be a woman is to know creation. 🌿 This Mother’s Day, we’re honoring the untameable force that lives within us all. Beyond traditional roles, we honor the mothers of ideas, of relationships, of creations, and of places. In a world that often tries to chisel away at our natural rhythms, we remember our power to regenerate, renew, and endure. You are enough. You are the force of the season itself. We honor you: femme, woman, mother. ✨ #MothersDay #TiaHealth #WomensHealth

For a long time, the medical world was built on a one-size-fits-all model that often overlooked the unique cultural and social needs of different communities. Dr. Margaret Chung refused to accept that standard. As the first American-born Chinese female physician, she spent her career breaking down barriers that limited access to quality care in her community. This AAPI Heritage Month, we’re honoring her legacy as a pioneer who didn’t just practice medicine, she helped translate it, bridging Western medical practices with the cultural needs of San Francisco’s Chinatown. Swipe to learn how Dr. Chung’s story of resilience helped pave the way for culturally competent, whole-person care today. ✨ #AAPIHeritageMonth #WomensHealth #CulturalCompetency #AAPIInMedicine #TiaHealth

For decades, endometriosis care has largely focused on two main approaches: hormonal treatment or surgery. Now, a new development is beginning to shift that conversation. In March 2026, the FDA cleared the way for clinical trials of ENDO-205, a first-of-its-kind non hormonal treatment currently being studied for endometriosis. Unlike traditional options that affect overall hormone levels, ENDO-205 is designed to target endometriosis lesions more directly while aiming to preserve surrounding healthy tissue. While this is still early in the clinical trial process, it represents meaningful progress toward more targeted and personalized care for a condition that has historically had limited options. You should not have to wait for future breakthroughs to find support today. From specialized gynecologic care to integrative services and advanced diagnostics, we’re here to help you manage symptoms now while staying informed on what is next. 🤍 Tap the link in bio to learn more about ENDO-205 and how Tia supports endometriosis care. #Endometriosis #WomensHealth #EndoAwareness #ClinicalResearch #TiaCare

Weight loss is often the headline, but for many women, the story of GLP-1 medications like Zepbound is much more complex. It can also relate to metabolic health, hormonal balance, and long-term wellness support. Zepbound (tirzepatide) is a dual-hormone medication that works on pathways involved in blood sugar regulation and appetite signaling. These processes are connected to conditions like insulin resistance, which can show up across different conditions and life stages, including PCOS and perimenopause. When considered as part of a comprehensive care plan with a provider, it can be one tool in a broader approach to whole-body health, but it’s not for everyone. Always consult with your provider to understand what’s right for you. Swipe for a breakdown of how this class of medication works alongside your biology and head to the link in our bio for the full article. #TiaHealth #Zepbound #GLP1 #WomensHealth #MetabolicHealth

The Earth is your body’s original support system. 🌎✨ At Tia, we often talk about wellness in terms of what we eat or how we move, but health doesn’t happen in isolation. From the air we breathe to what’s in our water, environmental factors can influence how your body functions day to day. Taking a step back to look at the bigger picture can help you better understand what’s happening internally. This Earth Day, we’re looking at the macro to better understand your micro. Ever wonder why your stomach flips when you’re nervous? It’s not just in your head, it’s connected to your gut. 🧠✨ The gut-brain axis is a communication pathway between your digestive system and your central nervous system. It helps explain why physical sensations in your body and emotional states are so closely linked. While mental health and gut health were once thought to be separate, new research shows it’s a two-way relationship, an imbalanced gut can influence mood, stress response, and overall mental wellbeing. The good news? Supporting one supports the other. From nutrition guidance to mental health support, Tia helps you care for the whole system. 🩺 Ready to connect the dots?
