as most of you know by now, i went to Tokyo with some friends (they are really cool!!!) to finally make some NEW MUSIC for myself and as much as i'm very Proud™ and Happy™ with all the Demos™, it pales in comparison to the incredible place we got to stay, and the fantastic people we met there let me introduce you to @ryoudenji a zen buddhist temple with the most open, liberal culture and mindset, where it felt like almost everyone working there also made music, art, or is in some way involved in something creative when me and @skyfallstatus first toyed around with the idea of doing something remotely similar to what we did in Balestrand back in 2022, where we gathered ~25 people and tried to finish an album in 12 days (some of the songs from that trip will be released!!!!! promise!!!!), we immediately thought of Tokyo - and obviously quickly realized that it would be too expensive to have THAT many people over, and it would also be really hard to find an iconic place to do this where we could also sleep, not disturb any neighbours, and also have it be affordable. well then we found @ryoudenji on AirBnB, and as soon as we saw that it was in fact a TEMPLE, we could at least tick the 'iconic' part of our checklist after a year of feeling anxious and exhausted, this really felt like a chance to rediscover why i hopelessly fell in love with music in the first place, and i couldn't be prouder of where this album (yes i said it) is heading more updates will follow unless the end of the world comes earlier than expected! 💖💖💖💖💖🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

a few things you should know: last year was crazy i made a lot of music i'm really proud of with so many incredible people @arif_murakami @sigrid @hauteandfreddy @iris_caltwait @hvemerkobe @samsonmirro @julivonlou @benjaminingrosso and so many more 💙 but i aaalso had severe burnout symptoms and one night when i was alone in a hotel room in london and had a panic attack and thought my heart had stopped when it obviously hadn't, i promised myself to take better care of this funny little brain/body of mine i said i would even go get a massage if i survived the night and i did! survive, that is better get that massage soon but more importantly, i promised myself to put something in my calendar that i would look forward to every single day SO TODAY I'M GOING TO TOKYO i'm staying for a month i'm bringing some of my fav collaborators! i'm making an album??? and now you know about as much as i do!!!! 🐊✨_(´ཀ`」 ∠)_ i'll try to keep you posted!!! drop some cute words in the comments if you're interested!!!! okay thanks for sticking around you are doing GREAT and i'm proud of you ❤️ 🥹🫴✨
