What a weekend. There is officially a Doctor in the family! I couldnt be more proud to see all of @supercanaleta6 hard work come to fruition and to be there in person to see him talk so confidently about his work was special. A full year married to my best friend 💍 The first one has gone so quick and im looking forward to a million more ❤️ Who else would sit on an allotment every weekend just to please me!
This morning I was up in Waterloo to drop some coffee chaff off to our friend Oli, who recently took ownership of an allotment and is laying the ground work quite literally at the minute.
For those that don’t know, coffee chaff is the dried outer layer of a coffee bean, it sheds when the beans are exposed to high temps like during roasting.
It’s a natural by product but rather than putting it in the bin, I’ve been collecting it as I’d heard it can be used as a natural fertiliser and in compost.
As we grow, this will be just one aspect of how Two Words intends to limit our impact on the environment. We’ll check back in later in the year to see how Oli gets on with using the chaff for his first ever harvest! In the meantime, this morning was a great excuse for a brew and catch up.

My little fat lad 🐶 Dave went for the long sleep last week, I cant even put into words the impact he had on our life. He was with us for some of the biggest moments over the last few years and he made them all 100 times better, hes the reason we will never be without a furry friend and showed us so much love right to the end. Im gonna miss you mate, steak for tea every night now 💔
