A cunty homage to the movie Anaconda. The original movies are not super high on my list of favorites but the trailer for the new one is highly compelling. I love that contemporary horror is taking a new approach on incorporating more levity. Weapons and Barbarian are some examples where comedy plays a really interesting role. A horror movie can have humor without being a joke or a spoof. Who knows whether the anaconda remake will be good or not but the trailer itself is gold and worth a watch. 🐍

If anyone gets this reference without scrolling down to the answer you are top tier spooky real one. . . . . . . . . . This drawing is inspired by the art hanging in Dick Halloran’s bedroom in the movie THE SHINING. We only see it for a brief moment, but it’s definitely the cuntiest shot in the movie. We know Kubrick didn’t put things in this movie for no reason so he definitely wanted us to know that Dick Halloran was not only the hero of this film but also that he was a psychic sensual king who fucks.

I LET YOU IN 🫱 lol sorry about this one very sorry. This is actually one of my all time favorite horror movies. I recently listened to an interview with @therackaracka and @sevphilippou they were so clever and perfectly unserious. They talked about the pressure to omit the Australian accents at some point because apparently the version of that accent that the rest of the world can actually understand sounds super inauthentic to Australians. The decision to stick to their roots and keep the accents authentic is just another detail that makes the characters feel so real. Fr though this move is full of so many beautiful details. I’m obsessed with the closeup shots of the lead picking at her nail polish. Such a visceral and personal act that for some reason I’ve never seen in other movies. ✌️again sorry for drawing this cursed image and stay tuned for more cuntified horror.

This is the cuntified movie Oculus. Another good one that I think a lot of people missed. Very spooky good scares. Throw it on while you work on your costume. Going to try to do some more of this series while October is still with us.

I found Minu in a shelter in Cranston RI over the summer between my junior and senior year. Her shelter name was Vogue. She was slimmer then. She moved with me from Providence to the apartment I lived in at 102nd and 1st ave, laying in my lap like a baby in the middle seat of a U-Haul. She was very selective. She accepted only a very select few into her inner circle. She was with me through some very formative and chaotic years. Saw many people come and go from my life. Lived in 7 different apartments with me. Minu was very round. But sometimes very rectangular. She liked to do a loaf shape with her front paws crossed. Very elegant. She would only drink from the faucet and we called it “the drip.” She wants her drip. You better give it to her. She ate from my plants. We called it the salad bar. She had black on the backs of her legs. We called them the “blacks of her legs”. She had a really short little tail and a meow that sounded like she smoked at least a pack a day. Anything that bothered Minu, we classified as “crimes against hu-minu-ty”. Once there was a friend of a friend (I can’t remember) who would come and speak French to her, which I always really liked. I didn’t get to spend her last few years with her. Sometimes life is like that. But I’m really thankful for the time we did spend together and to @papercrake who continued to give her the lifestyle she deserved. We joked about how she’d live forever. That was just her vibe. And she did live a long time. Wow I just did a very bad math in my head and got 43. She could have been 43. She was very mysterious and a little magical. Goodbye my old friend. I hope you sleep undisturbed wherever it is that the cats go. <3

Another cunty horror homage. One of the heavy hitters: Hereditary. A master class in inspiring dread. The scene that follows the one I drew (iykyk) is wild. True horror! It’s also worth noting that this movie has a fucking great ending which is something that’s hard to nail in the horror genre.
