‘Ghichpich’ a recent feature film directed by Ankur Singla captures the city in all its glory.
Chandigarh just doesn’t serve as a backdrop rather sets the mood and adds into emotions being told through the stories . It is very much a living and breathing character in the movie rather than a silent witness to all the happenings.

We showed some hidden gems of the city to @asingla7 and were elated to find them in the movie.

Set in 2001 Chandigarh, Ghicpich is a coming of age movie showcasing the bonds of father-son. The film feels like a breath of fresh air where characters don’t seem choreographed. It is a film that would stay with you long after you have left the cinema halls.

Watch it for all its goodness and if you are from Chandigarh, watch it because no one has captured the city as beautifully as Ankur Singla and his team.

A big win for our little “mindie” film ‘Ghich Pich’ running successfully in cinemas and entering third week.
Ghich Pich has been receiving a lot of love from the critics and audience across the country.
The coming-of-age story of three young friends and their father issues, is written and directed by a gifted debutant filmmaker @asingla7 , beautifully shot by @sukhan_saar , edited and color graded by @mubashshir.ali_ the three young actors @kabirnanda001@shhivam_kakar@aryanrana7_ are terrific finds, and music by @rohitsharmacomposer is so refreshing. I saw the WIP edit of the film for the first time April 2023 and was so charmed by it that I immediately came on board as an Executive Producer along with @a_phaedrus . The film is distributed by @platoononefilms
