Hello everyone, I'm happy to announce that Friday February 29 will be the release of the first issue of Certain Sevens. This 7” lathe cut is hand-cut at The Dub Crate It contains two tracks: Downfall feat Ash the Author and Halfspeed feat Louie G. You can expect a mix of hiphop spoken word & poetry delivered on broken beats, brushes, rhodes, trumpet and strings. This is the first time I have mc,s on my music. It has been an absolute privilege to work with Ash the Author and Louie G.
We choose to do 15 lathe cuts because we love vinyl and want to get it into the world. Keep in mind this handicraft makes every 7” unique. We are very proud of how the project turned out, and we can't wait to share it with you. The pre-order is now live on Bandcamp. The pre orders will be cut and shipped at the end of January. I'm happy and proud as hell with how the music turned out. Big thank you to Rob @Certain Sound Records for putting it out!
