🌖 crop planning as a nights and weekend farmer🌓 a zine for non-full time farmers, like us!! I (anita) made this zine as a way to accept and celebrate our farm situation - that we all have other off farm jobs and that’s ok!! we are still farmers and we got some pretty great tricks. I also wanted to share what we’ve learned along the way in case it can help / encourage other nights and weekend farmers. check out this zine full of crop planning wisdom, jokes, horoscopes and reality checks from the past 5 years as a moonlighting farmer. I hope you enjoy it! linked in bio. if you want a printed copy, find us around or send a msg and we’ll get you one!

Coming up on Sunday December 7, we are welcoming volunteers to the farm to help with our garlic planting and winter prep of our main field. We’ll be planting garlic and mulching with straw, clearing beds of spent winter crops and drip tape to prepare them for their winter slumber, spreading woodchips, moving solarizing tarps and preparing an area for a future fruit tree orchard! aka...we’ll be having fun! No experience necessary, just a kind heart!! You can get more information and RSVP at the link in our bio. This will be our last work day of the season. Thanks for being the wind beneath our wings and we’ll see you in the field! P.S. we were tied for which flyer to use so we shared both!! enjoy :)
