War Eagle, Auburn! 🦅
My name is Ashlyn Powers, and I am Miss Auburn University 2026!
I could not possibly be more grateful to be crowned Miss AU! This title has been a dream of mine for the past three years, and I still can’t believe that dream has finally come true! I’m so thankful to the Lord for giving me the opportunity to serve the university I love!
I cannot wait to spend this next year representing Auburn University and empowering the disability community of Alabama through my community service initiative, Be The Power.
Thank you to @bodybycraig@fearlesslyauthenticcoach and @winninglybythomason for preparing me so well, and to my incredible family, Fairhope community, and friends for always being my biggest cheerleaders, near and far. Your love and encouragement mean the world to me!
@mikella_anderson , thank you for being such an inspiring Miss AU, I have big shoes to fill!
And a special thank you to the amazing Miss Auburn University sponsors who make this organization so special. I’m so appreciative of your support and can’t wait to work with you all this year! 💙🧡
Here’s to a year full of service, spirit, and Auburn pride. Let’s do this Auburn! War Eagle!🦅
I could not be more grateful to have spent these last 4 years at Auburn. I’ve learned first hand that when you love Auburn, it will love you back, and I cannot be more thankful for the way the Lord has used Auburn to shape me into who I am today. Getting to spend my last year at Auburn representing this school has been a dream come true, and I am so grateful to this university for pouring into my life the way it has.
Auburn has been an incredible blessing, and the good Lord knew what he was doing when he put this place, and these people in my life.
Romans 8:28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
My Heavenly Father gave me an incredible blessing when I came to this university, and I will forever be impacted by the good He has provided.
Though I will shift to alumni status, I am grateful to continue to spend the next 5 months as Miss AU!
War Eagle to that!🦅
Miss Alabama contestant photos are live and I am so excited to share my official headshot!
I can’t believe we are less than two months away!✨

Disability Advocacy Day on the Hill💙
I had the honor of speaking at the Alabama State House about the importance of supporting the disability community of Alabama and sharing my community service initiative, Be The Power, focused on awareness, inclusion, and action.
Thank you to the Alabama Developmental Disabilities Network, the Arc of Alabama, and the Alabama Council on Developmental Disabilities for allowing me to be part of such an important day. Your work is changing lives across our state.
I’m also so grateful for the opportunity to sit down with Todd Stacey on Capitol Journal on Alabama Public Television alongside State Representative Adline Clarke to continue the conversation about disability advocacy, my platform, and the work that still needs to be done.
So honored to stand for the disability community of Alabama, and we’re only getting started. 💙
